The actual physical therapy staff was excellent. I think they had a genuine interest in my getting better, and to them my compliments. The administrative part of YVPT is extremely disappointing. There was an insurance problem so they cancelled any appointments I had made. I spoke to them about this, and they assured me everything would be resolved. This was on September 7. I did not hear anything from YVPT, so stopped in their office. I was told someone would get back to me. Grant called back, and seemed earnest in helping. This was September 24. Again, Grant said someone would get back, and at least I would have a final visit to assess my progress (with range of motion, strength, etc) and review ongoing home rehab. This seemed genuine and caring, and I believed them. It is now November 10, and I am yet to hear back after 6+ weeks. So much for following up, or at least concluding my therapy in an organized, productive way. It is hard to believe any business would be run in such a way, where if there is a problem the response is to ignore a client, and hope they forget or move away. While YVPT is strong in some areas, be prepared to encounter very unprofessional conduct and a lack of integrity in following up on what they say they will do.
