At loss of words, it’s terrible I would not recommend this for your love ones. Family members first day waited over an hour for someone to come to room after they called for help, granted they aren’t allowed to get up on their own, how can you expect someone to wait that long. Supposed to be receiving therapy daily but has not received any word on when or what. Never asked what they wanted for meals and if they needed anything. Super unprofessional, and not updated whatsoever. Family member cried and wanted to leave after not even 5 hours of being there. That should speak words to management.

Benjamin in the Business Office was amazing to deal with! During a very confusing and overwhelming time of having to place my loved one in a nursing home, his expertise and kindness in walking me through getting financial aid was so helpful, and very much appreciated!

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the nurses, staff and social worker (Bekah) for their loving and compassionate care of our father while he was a patient at Yorkview.

This is a great nursing home. I read these reviews, and most often they are not fair. The people here really work hard to care for our loved ones I wouldn’t be able to do their job. I appreciate all they do for us.. Definitely give them a chance

This place is horrible!!!!! They will really neglect your love ones that reside in this facility. Many of the residents do not have enough to eat or drink. Residents have found roaches in the food. If your love one is unable to weight bear and must be hoyer lifted out of the bed they will use the same pad on everyone. Sometimes the pad can be soiled and they will still use it due to lack of supplies. Also, your love one may have to stay in bed for weeks due to staffing shortages or no supplies. The rooms are filthy and never cleaned. The nursing’s assistant are rude and will roll their eyes if you ask them a question. Meals are never served on time due to staffing shortages. The place is always hot and spells like urine and feces. Patients will be sitting in soiled diapers or wet clothes for hours until they are change. They do not reposition patients every two hours or hourly round. Nursing have unsafe patient ratio. There is 1 nurse for 38 patients. Patients are at a high risk for falls, pressure ulcers and muscle wasting. If you love one needs total care or unable to advocate for their needs…please do not bring them to this nursing home. This place is dangerous for anyone that need skilled nursings services. This place will neglect and abuse your family.

If you are lucky enough to receive a meal, Food is served cold. The only meal that had protein was breakfast where there was one egg. No one responds to call bells in a timely manner, especially over night. I was in rehab here for an injury for 3 months and itvwas the worst experience of my life. Nursing resident scream at night because no one will help them. One woman was ignored when they thought she was vomiting. She was actually choking. I heard them giving COR until paramedics arrived. . I was across the hall and saw the whole thing. Your loved ones are not safe here. Sheets are threadbare. Rooms and bathrooms are filthy. You have to ask for clean ssheets snd they roll their. Eyes and make you wait. Same with asking or a shower.

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab is under new management. Things are going in a more positive direction. Leadership is supportive and resident care is primary goal. Looking good Yorkview!!!

The place is a dump, you wait hours for scheduled meds, I don't even think the call button works, if you have any respect for your loved ones do not let them go there.
