My father has been at Wynfield for over a year now. The staff seems to care and they treat him well, even though he is hard to deal with. It smells horrible on the second floor, like urine and feces. Other than the smell I would say this is an ok place.

My brother is currently in this facility, and he has been for the past year and some months. As a family member who visits frequently, you must do your part. Meaning, MOST IMPORTANTLY VISIT OFTEN!! attend care plans meetings, address your concerns with the head nurse in charge, get to know the staffs that are caring for you love ones. SEVERAL STAFFS can tell you at this facility I am VERY ACTIVE with my brother, patients, nurses and aids. I can honestly say that I am at peace with my brother residing here. Thank you all very much for EVERYTHING!!❤️

Very pleased with all aspects of care my Father is receiving. All personnel from administration, nurses, dietary, recreation, social work, aides just everyone is so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend for a loved one needing special care.

My family is grateful to Winfield Park Health and Rehab for accommodating our brother after debilitating strokes. The entire staff has provided excellent healthcare and rehab to improve his quality of life. Thank you Winfield Park for outstanding care and compassion you show on a daily basis. I just did my clinical rotations there last week. the place is clean but from what i observed they didn't treat residents with the full respect they deserved. When washing their face they would smother the face with the rag. They would not comfort the resident when they were in pain and would continue to do what ever they were doing that caused them pain. they would leave call lights on forever. I had to answer them because no real cna or nurse would do it. my cna on my last day their just up and left for their lunch break after a resident told her they needed to be changed, i profusely apologized to the resident and reported the need for changing to the charge nurse. I told them what the cna did but they didn't care. I also witnessed the horrific sight of them putting back on a soiled brief after a full shower. CNA didn't do proper charting, they just clicked random buttons, giving false care. A resident would suppose to have cream on there rashes there but it wouldn't be applied as needed. They leaved fecal matter in a sterile bandage for an open sore. They was a lot of bed sores on the patients, one was a phase 3 bed sore, u could put your finger in it. In conclusion I had good hands on training but i will never work there because of the horrific things have seen , I hope state comes and visits .

The people in this facility are wonderful. Queen is a super nurse and Kendell speech therapist was the best. My only complaint would be some of the personnel in the halls were very loud.
