DO NOT go here! was a patient of an NP there who left the practice. I switched to a new NP at this same practice and they said that it was mandatory to schedule an appointment to become “established as a new patient”. I waited over 40 minutes for this appointment and then had to leave for another appointment. Once I finally got in for my rescheduled appointment, I met the new NP briefly and then she left the room and let the student working with her finish the appointment. I had no problem with the student, but I do have a problem with them sending me a bill for this. I called and left a vm about this and no one returned my call so I sent them a letter with partial payment and still no one has contacted me, but of course they still sent me another bill for the balance. I will not be going back.

Haven't even had our first appointment yet and already one star. Waited for a month for the first appointment for my two sons a week before the appointment they call and reschedule now we're waiting another month. It's too bad that state insurance doesn't cover real doctors only clinics that have terrible scheduling practices.

There hasn’t been one time where they actually took my son in at our scheduled time. Usually have to wait an extra 20-30 minutes after before getting in. Once you finally get into a room you mind as well pack a bag because you’re going to be in there for awhile. We never have problems like this at the Westerly office. The one good thing I will say is the people are nice.

My names mark gibbs and Penny and Rachel Holland are my caring physicians.By caring is mean they actually care it's the first time I've really really felt, no wrong word known that i have two people that have my back no matter what I'm going through. From helping me get on meds I need to going above and beyond dealing specialty pharmacys they treat me like familly and Rachel Holland and Penny deserve more than I can ever give them and will forever have my gratitude 🙏.Thank u both for being nothing short of perfect.👌 👍 🥰.and for all u people who wrote bad reviews learn a little patience there busy because there the best.It made me laugh out loud to hear how petty people can be they've helped me through everything and always always been there when i need them and so much more I can't put into words if ur not leaving a five star review u need to look to ourself not them anyone but them

Good place for all your medical and dental needs. Also there is available an office to have lab work done. Friendly helpful staff.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this facility. I see my primary care doctor here- and both of my young children have their pediatrician here as well. I cannot tell you how many times I have needed to get in because one of my kids was sick. They ALWAYS find a spot for us and accommodate us the best they can. They are always nice and helpful when you call in to make an appointment. My kids see Dr.Holland and she is absolutely phenomenal. We had a loss in our family this past year and I also see bereavement counseling here.. they have been compassionate on every level. 10 out of 10.. I recommend wood river to everyone I know

I visited Dr. Jackson and was told to have blood work done at the Westerly hospital. I did so, and now have a $400 bill for blood work, which is insane since I have pretty good health insurance (without insurance it would've been over $2,000). I looked into the typical cost of each test, and the hospital charged 2-3 times more. I called the hospital, and they told me they're more expensive than a typical clinic, so I called Wood River to recommend they give their patients this information when sending them to a hospital for something that could easily be done at a lab. I was told I had the option to get a prescription to have blood work done elsewhere. I wasn't told this previously and it enrages me that it's assumed I would know this. The receptionist refuted that the hospital isn't more expensive, even though the hospital just told me they are. Also, the receptionist argued with me that I still would've had the blood work done, even knowing the cost, which is wildly inappropriate. Healthcare is a luxury in this country. She also then went on to tell me about her son's healthcare costs and even her dog's, all very inappropriate. In summary, know your options and always ask if there's a less expensive one. In addition, all the blood work came back normal, and there's been no follow-up from the doctor, so I've paid $400 and still don't have any answers.

When you miss a call from your sons pediatrician and 30 seconds later return the call and your on hold for 40 minutes only to get disconnected and start all over again! Step in up. Every doctor should have their own extention! Now it's been an hour and a half! Unacceptable! Looking for a new doctor! So aggravated. It's always like this no matter what time of day you call. Hello? Is it 1952? I would give zero stars if I could!
