In short, I am extremely happy with WOPT and have already recommended them to others. Great staff, flexible, and no problems. Read more for the longer story! Before my recent knee replacement surgery, I had time to "shop" for a PT facility. Of the 17 within 5 miles, in my network, I narrowed it down (web/phone) to five for in-person visits. Of those, WOPT was the friendliest and took the time to show me around, discuss what to expect, and what I could do before surgery to help with recovery. They won my confidence immediately! On my first appointment with WOPT four days after surgery, I met with PT John for the initial evaluation. He was extremely knowledgeable about artificial joint therapy and I learned things that I did not read about on the internet or hear from the surgeon. He listens to what you say, takes good notes, asks questions about specific pains and difficulties, and provides explanations I can understand. He has a pleasant personality and is a good conversationalist. He is very good at reading your facial expressions, but continues to challenge your limits for your own good - he's firm but knows when to pull back. With each session he will add one or two new home exercises based on my difficulties that week. He encourages me to do the exercises at home and suggests motivational ideas to help. He doesn't shame me for not doing exercises every day (since I make continuous progress) but reminds me that the more I do, the quicker the recovery. In my case after 8 weeks (2 sessions/week), my replacement knee is now more flexible and stronger than my other knee but I'm still 2 or 3 weeks away from normal stride. Of course, PT John wants me to perform the same exercises on both knees!

Dr. Jordan is fantastic. I started seeing him a year ago after a 4 year old torn Achilles starting aggrevating me after a week of skiing out west. He listened intently to all previous treatments and did some testing before outlining his plan to treat hip and glutes. He thoroughly explained why he wanted to treat and strengthen higher up the chain to take the load off of overused ankle muscles. His explanation made perfect sense. His plan has worked very well. BUT you have to put in the work he gives you for at home exercises. I’m impressed with his wealth of knowledge. I was fortunate to find such a great PT to keep my active lifestyle active. And he always finds the right spots with his needles. Thank you Jordan!

I started seeing Dr. Mike about 13 year ago for a sore back. After we got the back in shape, I told him I was going to have knee replacement surgery and that I would be seeing him again. That went so well I decided to have my other knee replace too. The recovery for the second knee was not as easy as the first one (not Dr. Mike's fault) but he got things back on track and my knees have not been a problem for 12 years! Just do your exercises and all will be good. I'm currently see Dr. Jordon for tennis elbow. Its starting to get better and on the road to recovery. I would highly recommend WOPT and the entire staff!

I went to see Dr. Jordan about a torn tendon in my arm. He quickly referred me to an orthopedic surgeon to have it repaired. After surgery, I went to Dr. Jordan for physical therapy, and I have to say has been a great experience. He is very knowledgeable, and the exercises have been a great help getting my arm back to full strength. Everyone is easy to work with and they offer very flexible scheduling. I am very happy that I found this place and highly recommend.

After breaking my ankle I went to PT at another facility for a month. During this time I was just sent to do exercises in the gym and the therapist never touched my ankle or even looked at it. A relative of mine was telling me about Wisco PT and highly recommended them so I gave them a call. Best call I ever made! Dr. Jordan listened to all my concerns (and complaints) and put together a plan which involved one on one therapy with a hands on approach. Dr. Jordan is very knowledgeable, caring and is dedicated to getting me back to participating in all my favorite activities. Thank you Wisco PT, Dr. Jordan and the staff at the front desk. I have referred several people to your practice and will continue to do so.

Dr Mike Roberts is the absolute best physical therapist in the universe. I started seeing him 10 years ago after a total knee replacement I can walk and even do the “skanky leg” because of him Ten years later I’m still seeing h for aches and pains of the aging process. I know I wouldn’t be as mobile without his expertise I’ve recommended him to family and friends and they all agree that Dr Mike and Wisconsin Orthopedic Physical Therapy is the best I give them 10 stars

Dr. Erik is fantastic. After nearly two decades of chronic back and neck pain, he was able to get me pain-free. His understanding of how the body works and the use of a variety of techniques have made this the best treatment I've ever experienced.

John Szivecz PT has helped us again with his knowledge and skills. This time Bill's shoulder was becoming ornery and uncooperative. Donna's neck also had issues. With his help and instruction we can now function normally. We highly recommend his expertise. The WOPT office staff has been terrific. Bill & Donna Granger
