Wiregrass Wellness Center - Dr. Strunk

Long time patient and I cannot complain. Dr. Strunk has always been good to me and his staff. Anyone who struggles with mental health looking to find an amazing Dr. , I would highly recommend trying out wiregrass wellness!

I thank Dr Strunk for been amazing doctor and treating me so well and listing to my concerns. The receptionist name is lin we where there Friday 09/20/2024 she's amazing reapectful answering the phones checking in and out patients and scheduling thing this is the best that I have seen. The way she cary her self was excellent. I thank the Doctor for been who he is and the staff was amazing definitely recommend

Horrible practice. No wonder why they were raided by the FBI. All you have to do is tell him what you want and he will give it to you. Always over charging. Paid my co pay every time I was seen but always had a balance. After a year of paying a balance plus copay every visit called my insurance and I was being over charged. When I brought it up I was told I need to find another provider. I DONT HAVE UNITED HEALTHCARE. Shows your office has no idea what they are doing!

This office is amazing , doctor strunk is the best doctor . He will listing and treat you like a human. The receptionist she is amazing she help me. Thank the receptionist for been willingly to help and make this transition easy. Le doy gracias a Doctor strunk or tratarme como un humano. Gracias por escuchar mi situación . Dr. Strunk is the worst doctor you could go to! He doesn’t give the time of day to actually listen or care about what’s going on. And now that I want to transfer my daughter out he refuses to refill or even see her till she can see new doctors! By far the worst person . Will not be recommending!!!!! The fact that your response has nothing to do with what I just said goes to show proof that you don’t listen!! it’s no wonder your so “confused” 😂 I NOT ONCE SAID I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE MEDICATION PRESCRIBED. YOU REFUSED TO REFILL AND SEE MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE I AM GOING TO TRANSFER HER TO ANOTHER AGENCY.

We have been using Dr Strunk for all my kids for years. I went to him as a child. But when his office staff puts me on hold because I’m trying to explain my frustration about my sons meds when I’m told to call if I have a problem the worst part is to get me to stop talking they put me on hold to make me listen to the music and ask me what do I want them to do about it. How am I supposed to trust in the office with my child that don’t care to listen to my frustration and say do you just want to send him to a mental hospital. I’m at lost what do I do next.

Update: If you disagree with this office he will stop seeing you or terminate you. If he does consider yourself lucky. I know I did. Before I wrote the review I knew I wasn't going back but unlike this office was being polite to make sure i was off the schedule. Obviously can't take someone who doesn't agree with them. Take strong warning of the reviews. People's opinions of their treatment was correct. I think the unprofessional attitude because he or they received a bad review is childish. Most would try to improve for people but I guess they think they need none and need a lot. I did not take the medication he gave me and didn't take the time to discuss anything about it with me including how to take it. Really shocked. I read the reviews and couldn't wait to be seen. Now I regret going. Doctor spent hardly any time with me or even trying to know what is going on. Then to tell me he thinks the counselor an hour from my house and 2 hours from my work is the best fit for me. How? What about me do you know to know what fits me? Because didn't ask a medical history or any history. I didn't know they needed a drug test and wasn't told so I used the restroom. Well that was the main concern. I guess I was wrong this seems more of a money mill than any care or concern. I don't feel I was given any care or concern. Just pushed on through. So happy for the people that say how thorough he was and told don't mind waiting because he spends as much time with you, you people were special because I received none of this. Wonder why people don't seek help.

I think the majority of the staff are very nice and helpful and I especially like Dr. Strunk’s nurse practitioner. But I do not like Dr. Strunk at all, while he is very intelligent, his interpersonal skills need work. He is not good at listening and is not very kind. On more than one occasional he hasn’t listened to her and prescribed her something that she either didn’t need or taken her off medication that was helping. He has shown absolutely no compassion towards her, refused to let her speak and has literally said “ well you think you’re the doctor so you don’t need me”. How unprofessional and childish. He’s shown no actual care towards her and never wants to listen to how she’s actually feeling and is very quick to just prescribe something for her. Every session with him is like some sort of business transaction, where he shows no beside manner whatsoever. I’m sure he’s a great doctor to see for people who have standard, by the book, disorders and just come in every once in a while for refills, but not everyone is that way. He may be a great doctor for some but our personal experience has not been good.
