Don’t use this HHC center! My son went here today and he said the staff was very rude and insensitive to him. When you’re in pain with a serious cut that’s bleeding like it was, you’re afraid and in pain and the last thing you want is staff caring doe you that are unsympathetic and rude. I think management needs to get involved here. Maybe this is why they only got a 3 Star rating?

Found a deer tick. Was in processed (registered), vitals and saw the Dr. In less than half an hour!! He removed the tick, gave me a dose of doxy and I was on my way. Friendly and professional staff. I would highly recommend. And I'm an R.N.
I brought my father to the emergency room he was complaining of dizziness and a severe headache when he stood up and walked. He has a medical history of diabetes and takes metphormin for the diabetes. We told them this is an intake. The doctor came in and asked him questions I tried to clarify since my father has dementia as well which it didn’t seem like the doctor knew and the doctor never checked his heart with the stethoscope he never did and orthostatic blood pressure and when I asked him about his blood sugars he at the gall to say why does he have diabetes. I couldn’t believe he had no idea what his diagnosis is work before he saw my dad. He sent this home and said he had a headache even though he felt very jittery and didn’t feel very good and only had a headache when he stood up and walked. I would definitely drive the extra 20 minutes to Charlotte Hungerford or somewhere else I have absolutely no confidence or faith in that doctor. The intake people though were very nice
The staff was prompt and professional... the short wait to get in to be seen, was a pleasant surprise. The Dr took his time to explain the in and outs , felt like a patient not a number .
I have gotten decent, thoughtful care here, but the place is very limited in what it can offer.
The worst. When you stub a toe and it becomes shaped like an "L", contrary to what this place believes, it is in fact broken.
Great ER there never have a long wait there unlike the torrington staff is great with kids in and out
I broke my wrist they told me it was a sprain
