Windsor Monterey Care Center

I have been a Nursing Home Administrator for nearly 20 years now. I recently joined this company, and I am very proud of it. The residents at Windsor Monterey Care Center are well taken care of. They are happy and safe. Staff members have been pleasantly welcoming and professional. In my 20 years of experience in this field, I have seen several Skilled Nursing Facilities, and I am very confident to say that Windsor Monterey Care Center is one of the most caring environments I have ever worked in. I highly recommend this facility to anyone including my family and friends for Skilled Nursing care needs.

Needed a special diet during my stay due to allergies, etc. Promised it would happen. Never did. Promised help with many things. Never happened. Nurse Ratchet was horrible and did not look forward to her shift.

Windsor Monterey is a facility who’s staff is caring and compassionate towards their residents. Has a great team of caring individuals.

I was there in 2013 (at the age of 58) for 5 weeks recovering from a serious motorcycle accident (crushed hip, knee & all of my bones put back in my leg with metal plates on each side, holding them in place). I received the worst medical care (not one doctor came to see me). My bloody bandages were on for over a week. A friend took them off and forced the nurse to put new dressing on. The food was so awful, my kids brought me food. I had powdered eggs every single day for breakfast. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Use your imagination. Unfortunately, this was the only place available near my family that offered physical therapy. I used a walker & hopped on my good leg. Hopefully, this place has improved. 👎 (rated below one star)

Now I realize why they have a 2.7 rating. They LOST my dear cousin but know nothing about why she's gone from their "care".
