My grandma said that this place treats the clients poorly. She was supposed to be in isolation and she she has a loud roommate. She complains on being very cold and her room is by the back door that is constantly opening and closing. Thank goodness she has a roommate because when she pushed the button for help no one came to help. The roommate with amputated toes got in her wheelchair and went for help. And when they did come they were very ruff with her grabbing her legs forcing her back in the bed. Then right after her accident and pain situation they tried forcing her to get back up and and do physical therapy. She says the water taste like it came from the sewers. The food is awful. The soup was frozen. Hairs found in the food. One time they onlybrought food for my gradma and not the roommate so the roommate was hungry, so I went to get them some food and they tried telling me not to feed her but she was trying to eat grandma food. Then they tried taking g it from her but she already ate it. Then they brought her food. Just sad, I went all the way to the store and came back with the food first that made me scared for my grandma because i work and go to school and i cantbe here dayand night with her while she is healing. Flies everywhere. As soon as I enter the building it wreaks of pee. When I'm there they are very nice to my grandma but when I leave they treat her bad. Talk about her to each other in her face. The more I type the more I feel I'm bout to file a law suite.

I will not go into detail about this facility as it is a waste of time. I do not recommend this facility to anyone. Here is an example of how I was treated in this facility. First I'd like to say the photos are not accurate the photos were taken for publicity but are not actually how it looks today. In no particular order my experiences are listed below and do not include all my experiences. My roommate died and they left me in the room with my dead roommate for over 6 hours. Can you imagine sleeping in the room with a corpse that's what happened to me they claim that the corner was running late. However my opinion is why don't they have a room where they put the dead until the corner arrives instead of leaving it in the room with me . This place had two major covid outbreaks there's 120 patients in the facility 60 of them had covid. On the second covid outbreak my roommate caught covid and they kept her in my room for 12 days with the door shut. I did not have covid and I was lucky that I didn't catch it from her but to leave a covid patient with a non covid patient for 12 days and isolation was putting my health at risk. They're building is so old you can hear screaming and yelling through the walls and the door even if they're shut. The air conditioner is so old it broke down and my room reached a 92 degrees for 5 to 6 days can't quite remember. That's with a window air conditioner on and two fans blowing, my room remained at 92. I have photos of a thermostat that I bought for my room to prove that the room was 92 degrees. One time I got so sick I was nauseated and dehydrated. There're only excuse was they couldn't get a part for the air conditioner because they don't make it anymore and they had to go to a third party to have them custom make the broken part . I buy my own snacks, my CNA would come in my room and tell me how hungry she was and looked through my snacks she would ask if she could have one. I felt that if I said no she would seek revenge on me so I said sure this went on for a couple weeks finally I reported it to the administrator, I also had a Apple laptop, One CNA dropped my laptop and shattered the screen completely I reported it and it took 3 months for them to reimburse me for the laptop however they only reimburse me $250 that would not even buy a used Apple laptop, They allow patients to scream and yell in the hallways it's very loud and stressful to hear people yell and help or come or whatever they want. And Patients are allowed to have TVs as loud as they want them even if it's echoing in the hallway Three doors down from your room .Getting rest is impossible here. Some CNAs will even sneak into your room to use the patient's bathroom instead of going to where the bathroom is for the staff. Once an eye doctor came in and put eye drops in my roommates eyes to dilate them those eye drops burn. They told her that they will take an eye exam of her shortly. Then they asked me if they could put drops in my eyes I told him hell no! It's a good thing that I said no because the doctor never came back into examine her eyes and my poor roommate was crying because the solution burned her eyes and the doctor never showed up. I am a bedridden so I have to wear briefs/diapers. I can't get up and use the toilet. One day I had a BM, I press my call light for help. It took 2 HOURS for someone to come and change me. When she came I said what took you so long? She said she was at lunch. I said lunch is a half hour where were you for the other hour and a half while I laid in my own BM. As a result from laying in my own BM I got a UTI infection. These are only a few examples of what I have gone through there are many many more but it would be too long to put in a review but take my advice do not put your loved ones here try to find another place

The nurses at Windsor Hampton are lovely shout out to Steven, David, jenny, those nurses go above and beyond also Eric for redressing my wound almost on a daily the staff is very personable and very helpful they really need to check on their CNAs they really need work there especially the night crew they're lazy and disrespectful not all of the night crew I was on East wing. The day shift and afternoon shift we're excellent they all have their hands full sometimes 14 patients to one person that isn't fair I want to shout out to Lorraine, Danielle, Rita, there were a couple more so forgive me for forgetting your names it wasn't intentional.I have to say that the food could use a lot of adjustments the cleaning crew most of them were horrible and lazy shout out to Nick did a fabulous job when it wasn't even his time to clean my room. the activity room and activity directors are very wonderful there's lots of things that you can do in the activity room bingo, puzzles. I want to say that the physical therapy department was the best I've ever had and I've had a few. Thank you Social services were very helpful and very sweet people they checked in on me often.

My dad is currently admitted to this facility and he has received great care so far. The facility is older (which is why I gave 4 stars) but it's clean and everyone has been really nice. There are a few staff members that have been very helpful and deserve to be shouted out, Jerma who is a CNA, Cherry who is a Case Manager and Anthony who is a nurse. We feel really comfortable with recommending this facility.

I only put 1 star because you have to. Place is disgusting. Smells slap you when you enter. Their social services should be called social media because that's all they do when you ask for help is on their personal phone. They seem to be immature and uneducated. The administrator is just as bad. Will not be referring any one with a heart beat to that facility.

My mother stayed at this facility for three weeks, from the end of April to the middle of May. When she arrived, she had no mobility on her left side, but she left having achieved all her goals set by Kaiser and even surpassed them. She made remarkable progress, being able to walk short distances with minimal assistance, improved her swallowing and speech significantly. For the most part, the staff was kind and helpful, although there was one day when my mother had a complaint about an LVN she didn't like. Was resolved pretty quickly. While I wouldn't say it's the absolute best option available, esp. without knowing how it compares, I wouldn't discourage people from sending their loved one or their own self here for help. Granted, my mother was here for short term rehab care. Not long term living. Amazing staff in general from everyone I've interacted with, with Emile and C.J. at the front desk, Cherry in case management, Dr. Dizon through very thorough calls and KP messages. Love Alvin!! Everest and Deaujone Heard were among the best, absolutely enjoyed working with them so much. We had a great experience with them—they were kind, caring, and attentive to every detail. I trusted them immensely. CNA Linda was always prompt in addressing any needs and went above and beyond to be helpful. She was my mother's favorite. I interacted with many more staff members, although I can't recall all their names. One of them had great eyeshadow and was very sweet. I am grateful for all of them. The physical therapy and occupational therapy sessions were great. I was able to join my mother during her sessions and receive updates afterward if I wanted. They helped me feel confident about bringing her home and ensured I had all the necessary equipment. I enjoyed working with Siyad and three other staff members whose names I can't remember. Equipment was well off too, seemed to have proper care and frequent sessions of all disciplines. I only met Jasmine from Speech once, but she was amazing. My mother had nothing but raving reviews to say about her. Food was whatever, couldn't comment on it because my mom was on puree cardio/diabetic diet 99% of the time there until the last day. Would recommend trying to get involved and visit every so often if possible to make sure your loved one is receiving the experience they need. Minor mishaps over medications, but nothing isolated to this care center. Would happen in any case when someone has such a complex situation. Call lights sometimes needed some prompting from calling the front desk, my mom saying it took 45+ minutes to get someone to come which I have no reference to other SNFs to know if that was good or bad. However, there were a couple of downsides. Upon admission, my mother's room had a call light that wasn't working for more than 24 hours, and despite assurances, she wasn't provided with a bell. Additionally, she experienced a fall early on which went unrecorded. She got out of bed, fell to the ground, suffered swelling to her head, and a cut that bled significantly. We were not informed of the incident until her external primary care physician was notified, and I received a call asking me to take her to the hospital. I immediately contacted the facility, spoke to the charge nurse, and was assured that Dr. Dizon was aware of the incident, my mother was fine, and proper protocols were in place. Made it sound like she had just struck her head someone from inside the bed. However, it wasn't until 24 hours later that I received a call from Dr. Dizon, who expressed her surprise at learning about the fall. She stated that there was no documentation of the incident and immediately arranged for my mother to be transported down the road to St. Joseph's have a CT scan at the hospital. There were 2 separate COVID exposures at the care facility, and masks were re-mandated towards the end of her stay for visitors and staff. Roommate was fine. I want to urge Windsor to improve their staffing ratios for better care, as always.

This is bad, we came to take my uncle here today and the reception had no communication with the head nurse after the coordinator had told the hospital that the facility had his room ready for his arrival , we get there we aren’t greeted , the reception is being completely rude and disregarding . The nurse upon arrival was trying to be nice and do her job , however by the time we were there for an hour the nurse flat out told us, this place doesn’t care about the patients . You can’t leave his belongings here they’ll get stolen from other patients, we went to turn on TV the remote was broken and had no batteries in stock to be replaced … my uncle is not to be smoking due to the cancer and this is a hospital and hospitals are always smoke free campuses. The food was so terrible cold pizza for a patient with stale jello, he was offered water when he is supposed to have limited fluids , the cna responded oh I don’t know than continues to get his water mean while my mother request the room be cleaned being the room he was put in was not even set up completely one side was made for my uncle (holy sheets) the janitor arrives pushes the bed two inches sweeps than starts walking out a nurse runs in and says throw some bleach on the floor so now he’s mopping with bleach and that’s it we had to discard all the previous clients items ourselves so the room got cleaned but the lights weren’t coming on come sun down so they brought a lamp , this place is messy we used all the wipes we brought in the 4 hours there cleaning. Thank god we got his patch on him cause he’s a smoker being the clients smoke outside the emergency door exit, another C.N.A told us patients things go missing so write an inventory . The whole time we were setting up his room patients were running in and out of the emergency exit; also they never I.D us or gave us COVID test . My uncle had us change him thank god we brought our own diapers because they didn’t have any, bottom line this place is hazardous unprofessional and needs to be shut down , they don’t care, and they god I do because my uncle isn’t staying here he wasn’t even allowedto shower till he gets on the schedule he should’ve been cleaned upon arrival . But the whole place was dirty and the nurse literally told us don’t leave him there.

This place may be old but the staff is very caring and went out of their way to make my mom feel very comfortable and safe. All I could want in this kind of situation. Food and drinks could step up with a new culinary approach to care but 4/5*'s cuz of compassion.
