Very disappointed in this company. Reached out for an OT eval and waited two months just to get that done. Then they said they didn’t even know if they had availability but it would take around 4 weeks to hear back about starting OT. After 1 month, I called and they couldn’t even find his file. The receptionist said she would have to have the director look him up. 1 week later, she called and acted like the delay was due to insurance. I told her I verified with insurance and we had been approved since day one. She said she would look into it and call me back. 2 more months passed and we haven’t even heard from them so we have moved on. What a waste of time that we could have been receiving services elsewhere. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for services. The lack of communication and care for their clients is unacceptable.

We've worked with whole kids co and Nicole for almost 2 years now. They've always been supportive of my child through her tough times. I would definitely recommend this place over the others we've tried in town.

My child was on the waiting list for 5 months. They said she would be able to get in by summer. Summer came, and I emailed Aurelia and never heard back. Then I reached out via phone and receptionist Lisa told me that their system was down and that she would call me back later that day. She did not. Then I called the following week and she said that Joyce would be giving me a call. She never did. Then I emailed Joyce yesterday and STILL haven't heard back. I am so frustrated to have wasted 5 months with this company. Throwing "Christian services" into their profile while completing disregarding parents who need support for their children. So disappointing!

Shelley is absolutely wonderful with my son! The difference in my son with the help of ABA is like night and day! So thankful for WKC!

I haven’t interacted with anyone other than Joyce at this point but I just have to say she already made me excited to work with Whole Kids. My daughter desperately needed an evaluation done. After calling over 15 places trying to get an appointment Joyce was by far the most pleasant to speak with. She sounded happy and attentive, even though I only had a few questions, she really seemed to listen. She had to check on one of my questions and told me she would call back, I was afraid it would be like all the other places who said the same thing and never ended up calling back. Joyce was on top of it and gave me a call back very quickly. She also sounded genuinely excited about the work Holly does with Whole Kids. Safe to say we are extremely excited to work with them.

To make a long story short, our autistic Son was on their waitlist for years and we never heard anything back. A few months ago we decided to try again and got him back on their waiting list for possible ABA and OT. All we ever heard from people was how wonderful this clinic was, and how high in demand their services were, and how hard they were to get into. We called and followed up several times to see where he was on the list, and it wasn't until we walked into the clinic and asked where he was on the list, that they admitted they had forgotten to let us know he was up on the list for an intake meeting. We were so excited! We filled out intake paperwork, and made appointments as necessary. Before our intake appointment I got a call from Joyce, their office manager I presume, telling me that the person scheduled to do the intake meeting with had a family emergency last minute and needed to reschedule. She was able to reschedule us for a few days later, but it didn't leave a good taste in my mouth after we had just been forgotten on the waiting list. Next, before the intake meeting, Joyce called me again, telling me I'd have to fill out the same intake paperwork again that I had filled out in the office. I asked why, and where the paperwork was that I physically filled out in the office, and she said they couldn't locate it. I asked if that meant they had lost our personal information, and she said no, which made no sense to me, this was the third infraction on their part of being messy and unprofessional. During our intake appointment we explained everything about our Son to them in detail, what his autism presented like, what he needed, we thought perhaps OT and ABA. Then we went to our next appointment which was an intake meeting for OT. The Occupational Therapist didn't have any of the intake meeting information, and she was confused about what our Son needed. It was a disappointing meeting and ended in her giving us a tour of the facility which I found to be less than impressive. We were assured that after that meeting we would hear back when they had approval of our insurance. We never heard back and it's been over a month. We also asked after that meeting with the OT when our ABA intake meeting would be and they told us that we weren't on the list for an ABA intake meeting, and it would be months before we got in, we were never told this before. I got a letter in the mail from our Son's Medicaid insurance today that Whole Kids Co. didn't fill out the information to get him approved for OT properly and it was denied. What a waste of time... We also used Whole Kids Co. to get a new psych eval for our Son, and while the Psychologist was professional and kind, after I reviewed her diagnosis, I caught a major mistake on her end that I don't think a person with a PhD should have made that caused her to adjust her diagnosis, I do NOT have a PhD in psychology. The psychologist also told me that she would be telling the owner of Whole Kids Co. about our experience with Whole Kids Co. so far and have her reach out to us, the owner never reached out to us at all. Our Son also has a PDA (pervasive drive for autonomy) profile in Autism, something that the USA doesn't offer as a diagnosis, but other countries far ahead in research then the US like Japan and UK do. A PDA profile requires therapists who at least understand low demand language so as to not trigger the PDA patient's sensitive nervous system into flight or flight. I was told that Whole Kids Co. does not have any therapists who are familiar with this profile of autism, so even if we were feeling confident in Whole Kids Co's ability to keep appointments, be detailed, communicate well, and perform administrative tasks well, we wouldn't chose them for this reason. Today I called and told them we would not be using them for any services. To say this has been a disappointing experience is an understatement. I hope this review helps others who are seeking help for their autistic children.

Michaela is the best physical therapist we have ever had! She is so in tune to my kids needs and they have made amazing progress under her care! Stephen does their re-evaluations and helps keep them on track! Thank you so much for your consistent work and wonderful positivity!

Nicole is the best. Our daughter is better able to name her own emotions and feelings, and has stopped her self harming behavior. Everyone there genuinely cares about the child and the parents too- it's the first place where my wife and I can get Parent Support Therapy.
