White Mountain Regional Medical Center

My family was fishing in the White Mountains, and unfortunately we had to make a trip to ER. We were quite impressed with how well we were treated. From the x-ray tech, ER doctor, nurses, and staff, every employee was personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable during the treatment. It's refreshing to get great service, and not be treated like a number. Thank you.

I went to the clinic and received great service. The problem came when I received the hospital bill for my yearly basic blood work. I was charged $653.90, after insurance. I was told that my blood work was more inclusive. No it wasn't. I've never paid more than $50.00 out of pocket for blood work. If you can at all help it, get your blood work via a different provider. It's not the business office fault. They were very kind. Don't know how people without insurance or extra $$$ can get their blood work.

After visiting Dr Heap yesterday, who I followed from his previous practice, to just receive a continuation of two prescriptions, a quick temp and blood pressure taken by the med assistant, my total time there was 30 minutes with both people. I have no insurance and my bill was $281.62!!. I wasn't even given an itemized bill and I asked for one, just a receipt from the card reader. I had asked what I was going to pay on my first visit and no reply. yesterday again no answer. I'm absolutely disgusted at that price and that there are no prices shown for a simple visit, which to me shows their 'sliding scale' is based on nada. Not on my income as was explained to me on my first visit. So if your going there be sure to insist on a price for a doctors visit and other services. The company website does say that there is a ' no surprises policy', Well $281.62 was a huge surprise for me.

The morning after Xmas I awoke to the lovely gift of a kidney stone issue. Dr. Johnson and the emergency room staff were all awesome and I can't thank them enough. The service they provided was prompt, caring, and professional. Dr. Johnson told me I had a 2 mm stone and wouldn't you know it... I delivered a 2 mm stone later that day be-stilling much relief. My family has been using this ER for many years with never a bad tale to tell and sure are glad things there haven't changed. Once again many thanks to all the ER staff. Keep up the good work. The clinic providers are absolutely wonderful. The team got my kids in quickly and placed them on a path back to health and wellness! Scripts were sent over to our Pharmacy quickly! Thank you

Dr. Hopkins, nurses, admitting, CT Tech and housekeeping were all beyond exceptional. My husband received the best of care. The ER was very clean and sanitized. We live in NM and this hospital and staff will be our go to should any emergency arise. Thank you all for taking such good care of my husband.

I used to recommend this facility until new management came in and I would rather risk my life to a hospital an hour away than take the chance on passing in this facility. The grounds are disgusting even with the construction I take into account. It takes 25 mins minimum to make an appointment, don't bother leaving a message, they won't call back. There is 1 person at the clinic I trust the rest treat you like an inconvenience, if you can go elsewhere I highly recommend you do.

I suffered a serious leg infection and I am thankful to the wonderful and caring staff who treated me with kindness and dignity. Thank you so much for seeing me back to health!!!
