My mother has been a resident at Whispering Pines for over two years now. I can’t put into words how happy I am that I made the decision to choose Whispering Pines. The entire staff is courteous and professional, and my mom couldn’t be happier.! She told me just last week, how much she loves it there! She’s very happy with her room and her roommate and she loves the food too. She also very much enjoys going to the many different events that Whispering Pines offers. For example, they have different types of musicians and various other entertainers. They also have cookouts in the summertime and bingo is also a pastime that she enjoys. The peace of mind I enjoy knowing that my mother is in good hands is wonderful. I highly recommend Whispering Pines for the care of your loved one.

On a client at whistling pines short-term our first start with the staff they are courteous timely professional treat you like they want to be treated and always have a smile on their face. Next we go to physical therapy they have three physical therapists I arrived here using a walker in 6 days I'm walking on my own with no assistance physical therapy here is 6 days a week sometimes twice a day next we'll go to recreation they have two activities a day during the summer every Friday they have an outdoor barbecue with live music in their beautiful outdoor Courtyard or outdoor seating with comfortable cushions surrounded by perennial gardens I leave the best for last the food the food here is restaurant quality they have steam tables that go to each section so your food is always piping hot the menu consist of a feature meal with with a alternate if you don't like either you could go to the ala carte menu which have over a hundred items on a few of the dinner choices are veal steak salmon shrimp and scallops the food is always served at the time they say they're going to serve it I highly suggest whispering pines for yourself or your loved one God bless

I didn't even want to leave one star, this company is not responsible, they left a patient that was seen at our practice for over 2 hours, they kept saying they were picking her up and she waited and waited, we called numerous times, and they did not seem to care they forgot about this patient. I highly do not recommend this facility for anyone.

This could be a wonderful facility if Good, Consistent Help were Easy to Come By. "Skilled" Nursing Facilites..it's time to wake up and become TRAILBLAZERS for Paying A Competitive WAGE FOR NURSES AIDES...NURSES AIDES..please make a Short Term Goal to obtain your next level LPN degree w/in 2 years of NA work to keep the cycle moving Upward to RN!! 🤗🤗🤗Your Work is Hardwork.....THANK YOU to the Over Achieving NA's who are Truley Compassionate and Exceptional at their Job.. UPDATE- POORLY MANAGED AND SUPERVISED. Elderly left to sit in soiled clothing while being ignored when YELLING for HELP! ELDERS who are bedridden seem to be deliberately left without access to their call button, bed remote, and liquids to maintain hydration, which is ESSENTIAL for elderly who are more prone to dehydration. Elders' food trays are left unsanitary with old dried food stuck to it.🤢 No sweeping up food from the floor after a meal, etc. 🤮Trust me, I can go on and on. Nursed Aides, who are not empathetic, take full advantage of the lack of Supervision and Accountability. Time to spot light at the state level!!😡

My experience at Whispering Pines was amazing!!! I had the opportunity to be a summer intern and learn the ins and outs of how a facility like Whispering Pines works!! Everyone was so inviting, willing to help me when I had questions… they really treated me like family!! The residents are great, some I still keep in contact with today!! I can say they have prepared me for when my time comes to run a nursing home! All the way from Florida, great experience!

If I could give this place a zero review I would. Next step is going to be filing a complaint for elderly abuse. My father in law has been a patient at this place for a couple weeks. In that time he has been left sitting soiled in his bed for several days at a time. He has advanced glioblastoma and has lost control of many of his motor functions yet the staff just drop his food off, while he lays on his back in bed attempting to shovel his food in his mouth because he no longer has the fine motor skills to feed himself, he is then left for hours at a time covered in his meals. The last straw has been Christmas Day where he was left for hours unconscious, in a state of half nakedness, soiled and uncovered in his bed while many of his family and friends tried to visit him for what will certainly be his last holiday. His friends and family are elderly also and could not physically take care of what needed to be done to clean him and cover him, offering him some form of dignity in his dying days. When someone from the staff was notified the only thing they said was “all of our staff is on break right now”. The indifference and indignity with which my father in law has been given in his final days by the staff of whispering pines is intolerable, unacceptable and possibly criminal negligence. I would seriously caution anyone to send their loved ones to this place in the future.

Whispering Pines is clean and the food provided to clients is excellent. The ownership is present and cares about the welfare of residents and staff. It is a great place to work.
