My family and I want express our deep appreciation for your facility.And how you cared for our dear sister Susan Carr. From the time she came there , you guys took very close care and making sure she was take, from changing rooms so she be comfortable, to your staff coming in on there day off. Look no further for the best nursing home around- my father came home today after 5 weeks at Western Slope and he was so well taken are of that I'm surprised he doesn't want to go back! Being facetious of course- but seriously, the nurses are committed to their profession and organized and caring. The PTs are demanding, patient, and compassionate. The OT's have beautiful personalities and are so helpful, every aspect of his care was perfect- kudos to the management team for hiring such dedicated professionals!

Tomorrow, I go home, and I wanted to let you know how grateful l am that you have been here to support me in my healing journey. I appreciate the good care you have taken of me and the kindness of the staff. Due to the nature of my injury, I was not sure how my healing process would go but over the last few weeks I have made excellent progress due to your wonderful therapy team. When I first arrived, I was feeling overwhelmed thinking I might be paralyzed but the staff here pulled me out of that and now I am up and walking! As I said above, tomorrow I am going home thanks to the efforts of the Western Slope Staff. Please let me express my feelings of gratitude for all that you have done for me. Horrible experience for a family member that was supposed to be there for short term rehab. Barely get her out of bed, leave in urine and feces, ignored a medical issue so long family had to call 911, put in a carpeted room that smelled of old urine; complaints fall on deaf ears or false empathy. Staff doesn’t know anything about patient from day to day. Just awful.

It is unsafe for anyone to stay here. My mother-in-law checked in on a Thursday in December. When family came to check on her on Sunday, she was still in her same clothes and the staff said "there were plumbing problems" so they couldn't shower her. There was no walker available for her, though she requires one. She had has NO PT while there, although she was supposed to get it everyday to help her get ready to return to her assisted living facility. Her "safety" buzzer did not work and she had to yell to try and get someone the help her to to the bathroom and NO ONE came. There was no water on her tray. When the family asked staff who was in charge they were told "there is no one on site this weekend because it is a holiday". She was basically abandoned within this facility. If there had been a fire or natural disaster, what would have happened? I find it interesting that when this facility gets a number of bad reviews (on this site and others), there is a sudden posting at the same time of positive reviews, all cued to use the word "professional" and it has been indicated on another site that these postings were by employees. This place is a nightmare and as disaster waiting to happen.

I was sent here because I did not have any place to go after my surgery. This gave me a safe place to heal and a place to figure out where to go from here. The care that I have received has been top notch and would recommend to anyone who needs help after a serious medical problem.

A family member had a rehab stay recently. I was impressed with the kindness and patience shown to him by all members of the direct care staff. Everyone I spoke to daily was respectful and courteous. I appreciate the fine care.
