West Valley Post Acute

We are very happy with the care received at this facility. The staff has been warm, welcoming and attentive. They’ve been treating my husband as a family member. The PT staff has been amazing and patient with my husband who couldn’t walk. They start with where he’s at and gently encourage him to move forward . Two staff members that have been exceptional have been nurse Sipeda and CNA Erasmo. I wish I could take them home with me. But, in general , I would recommend this facility to one and all

No one was at the primary desk to begin with to deliver a Shipt order, so anyone could’ve walked in and done god knows what. I literally stood there for a good minute and the male nurse did not notice me, they all just sat there laughing and chit chatting. So I decided to deliver the order directly to them and the nurse by her door made the patient get up and walk to the door to receive the order. The poor patient took a while to reach the door, I offered to give it to her to avoid this as I can see her struggling and he said no it’s fine. They should really rethink on how they treat patients, if it was someone they actually cared about it would’ve been different.

I do not recommend this facility. If you care about your loved ones, stay clear of this place. Your loved one could simply walk out of this facility onto oncoming traffic on Shoup Ave. as they don't have anyone at the front desk for the majority of the night and mornings. I saw this with my own eyes and left management a long voice-mail. I requested for a case manager to call me regarding my many concerns.... a week and a half went by, and they just ignored my calls. They leave patients in their urine and feces. When you complain and bring it to their attention, they get mad and tell you they are doing the best they can. There is a lack of proper management. Stay clear of this dump.

Very clean and what great staff! Harsh & Iris helped take care of my mother and they were both so kind and patient. Nobody wants their parents to end up in a facility, but if you need to place your loved one, I would recommend this place. Only recommendation I would make to the facility would be somehow to get patients out of their bed for more movement other than the actual scheduled rehab time. This would help the rehab and patient. Although I also know this might not be possible. Either way, thank you West Valley Post Acute center. Mom is doing well and our entire family appreciates all you did. Special thanks to Harsh & Iris!

If the time ever arrives when you need the most excellent rehab care this skilled nursing facility provides excellent results. The nurses, CNA’s, and rehab therapists are beyond compare. The care , compassion , respect and knowledge they give each patient encourages their well being to recover. The facility Administrators are available to address any concerns that you may have. A special thank you to all the nurses, CNA’s, therapist & housekeeping. We checked out a number of Skilled Nursing Facilities in the area, and they mostly seemed to have a smell of urine and were quite depressing. Until we walked into West Valley Post Acute. Upon walking in we immediately noticed the clean facility with a nice clean smell. We were greeted by a warm and friendly staff, including residents that seemed truly happy to be there. I ran into what looked like the family member of a resident and stopped to ask her opinion of the facility. She couldn’t stop raving about the care and PT team. She said they have had multiple family members there over different periods of time which really made me feel at ease with leaving my mom there. The staff has truly been great with my mom and always willing to give an update on how her rehab is going. I would absolutely recommend this place for any family member.

Hello/ I am the “poor patient” of which the 2nd most recent review spoke of. I’m not sure which place or people or even patient this young Shipt delivery lady was describing, but it most certainly was inaccurate in all areas. Let’s start with me, the “poor patient”. And let me say that after 3+ weeks of being here, I’m anything but. I have never been so well/attended to, cared for with love & professionalism and had such a pleasant positive experience here, that even with the pain that comes with a knee replacement, this has felt more like one of those vacations where the staff feels like friends, where the facility feels safe & protected and the care feels like u have ur own private dr 24/7. So while this delivery employee who was delivering my second purchase from Target (delivered by Shipt) that night, was seemingly friendly energetic & helpful, so much so that i went ahead & added an extra $5 to her tip/ it was shocking & disappointing that they decide to post not only a VERY NEGATIVE UNKIND & HURTFUL review- most aggravating is that it is all untrue & I am in disbelief as to why this young woman AND the young man friend she had brought along with my delivery, decided to attempt to shine a negative light. But fortunately, this review will have no effect, because successful companies, such as this, continue & survive because of their actual success, not from random reviews-that may or may not have been written all by herself, since she didn’t say a word to me that night. I hope this review of the review does not sound similar to the initial one as WEST VALLEY POST ACCUTE is a happy place with happy people.

My husband just spent nearly three months there and we could not have been more pleased. The facility is very clean and well maintained, and the entire staff is beyond caring, efficient, friendly, and outstanding in every way, from the janitorial and maintenance staff, nursing staff, all the way up to the administration and everyone in between. Five star kudos especially to the rehab team (Alan Zimmerman you are a superstar!). Our warmest thanks for the excellent care we received on a daily basis!
