This place is horrible. Avoid if possible. No onsite doctor. No onsite counselor. They make it so difficult to increase your daily dose. They only take money orders, No cash, credit card or debit cards. They also make you pay for the entire week at a time. You can’t pay for just one day if that’s all you’re able to do.

This clinic is extremely restrictive with your ability to earn take homes. The Dr refused to follow the recommendation of SAMHSA of increasing exception doses during pandemic and instead required every patient to come daily to clinic. Several patients including myself have years of meeting requirements of 8 point criteria and consistent clean UAs, yet are still required to travel to clinic daily. Dr Garcia refuses to follow the recommendation to allow patients to earn weekly take home. If you choose this clinic do not expect to be allowed to travel for Years. You’d be better off traveling to Austin where you’ll be on weeklys/bi weekly within a year.

Suboxone would be a much better option. These type of methadone clinics are very hard to get there, get doses and to work on time. Everyday you go. Suboxone is prescribed by regular doctors, and you don’t have to but show up every day. I give the nurses there a 5 star. The programs for methadone make you jump through hoops to not be “punished “. I produced false positives on drug screens and you get no help unless you pay for a more expensive test to confirm the positive result. These government ran programs just make it really hard to deal with life and every time you show up it just put you in a bad mood to be talked down to buy the doctors and the head nurse over all of the different West Texas clinics. Again, the nurses at this clinic or top-notch, and have always treated me right. But there’s so many crazy government regulations Which is completely illogical if you’re actually trying to help the person. So if you’re thinking about going to a methadone clinic, please think about going on a Suboxone before.
