WellCare Pediatric Therapy Specialists

We have been with Wellcare for over 3 years now. We receive multiple services such as ABA, OT, PT, & ST. Our ST is amazing!! (Elizabeth) Our PT is amazing!! (Sam) We have had 3 case managers for ABA..and 2 different therapists in a 18 month span...we have now terminated ABA as they just could not get their sessions together. We just never could get any of our case managers to commit to a goal and stick with it. My son has gained nothing from ABA in 18 months. We had our OT just quit, with no notice, after being with our family 2 almost 3 years. Now being told my medically/mentally fragile children will have to be re evaluated and re staffed...but not sure when that will happen. So leaving my children unsupported and feeling abandoned by a therapist they thought was their (friend) my kiddos are all under 11yrs old and have a hard time forming relationships. Very disappointed in how things are going for our family. We were given no answers as to why any of this took place. We were however informed we would be placed at the top of the waiting list until they could either employ someone new or hours opened up for a current therapist. It's a mess..

My child attended services here for two years before we had to relocate out of state, otherwise I would have loved for him to continue! Wellcare really went above and beyond in every way to ensure his care was comprehensive, tailored to his individuality, and we saw so much progress in his abilities during his time there. The RBTS, BCBAs, Speech and Occupational therapists are fantastic, every staff member really cared for my child, and he benefitted greatly from the positive environment/support as well as the collaborative care. I felt very supported as a parent, especially in regards to having multiple therapies that were collaboratively coordinated and conducted. The unified approach really helped my child in all areas! Wellcare always made sure to be communicative with me regarding insurance and I felt like they were very helpful in resolving any insurance issues that arose. Would highly recommend, wonderful center

My boys have been getting services through Wellcare for about 3 1/2 years. We have had a few different therapists for PT and any problem that has arisen has been handled quickly and professionally. We also have been so fortunate to have had the same OT for the whole time we have been with the company, Rachel Knight has been a Godsend for my two boys and they have grown so much through her work with them over the years. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for therapy for their children.

Our therapist was great, but their billing is very unprofessional. We had apparently been accruing $40 copays, and they never told us. Come to find out at the end of our sessions that we owed $500+, and it needed to be paid immediately. Apparently the billing manager just “forgot” to tell us. We’ve been on a payment plan now for a few months.

I chose to try to go with this company because it seemed like they had good reviews but they were not very professional with us. We gave them all of our information and they put us on a wait list and said it would be a couple weeks. After a month and a half I begin contacting them via text, as they had given me a text phone number if I had any questions. Finally on my third message they responded and said that the person that they were going to schedule us with left the company and that they meant to tell us but "apparently didn't hit send". So they've been stringing us along for 2 months at this point when I could have just gone somewhere else to get my son services. Also.. there's no one else with the company that they could schedule us with instead? Just seems very poorly managed. Early intervention with special needs kids is key to their success.. so I really don't appreciate that they wasted our time and couldn't even follow up with us until I messaged them three times asking where he was on the wait list.

With services in ABA, PT, ST, and OT, WellCare can offer excellent care in the home and clinic environments, allowing for flexibility when scheduling!

The staff at wellcare always goes above and beyond for our family. With Susan's assistance in speech thereapy, we have noticed a huge improvement not only at home but school as well. We will always support wellcare and all they do for us and we highly recommend their services!

Susan Adams is very rude and unprofessional. Her boss, Marshea, will not believe the clients and makes up excuses for Susan. There are no responses or call backs. Horrible customer service. Shameful for the kids. Because you can't find an email in the system does not dis-qualify my review. I love how you had your employees write reviews to up your star rating. Those are are internet savvy understand the game you all play. No need to discuss anything as you will defend your rude employee. Good luck with your shady business.
