I am truly grateful for everyone who has helped my daughter. She was in-patient and the nurses/doctors/staff/therapists were incredible. She is currently at the medical daycare and the experience has been so wonderful. Everyone treats her so well, and I will forever be so thankful!

We saw three therapists while here. It was the best choice for my child and helped us in so many ways. I am beyond grateful to the providers we saw. It was exactly what we needed. Never had a single issue while going there. 10/10.

I’ve been calling since April 9th trying to get my son on the waitlist for OT. Intake has sent me to voicemail repeatedly with no call back. Last Tuesday I broke down crying to a front desk woman and she offered to help, because of her I was able to complete my son’s intake. Today is 8 days after documentation submitted and scheduling says they have not received his case. This is the absolute worst communication I’ve ever encountered from a healthcare service. The timeframe has been so long that I was able to apply for out of network benefits not once, but TWICE from my son’s insurance company in hopes to go somewhere else for OT. Sadly they denied my request and state he is to use Weisman. I wanted to add- the woman working the front desk was actually an intake coordinator covering that position. She was very kind to listen to my concerns and offer to do my son’s intake.

My son has been going to this center for Speech/ OT since he was 2 1/2 with no problems what so ever we really loved the center & he bonded well with the therapist there. Unfortunately things took a turn when his speech therapist went on maternity leave & never returned ( she found a better job which I am truly happy for her & wish her the best ). He's been with her since the beginning so I knew it may take some time to transition to a new speech therapist but again he enjoyed the therapist there so I didn't worry too much. He was given a new therapist but her energy was off & my son didn't take well to her ( which is the 1st time he didn't like a therapist at the facility) I tried to give her a chance but felt the same energy my son felt from her. We tried to get a new therapist but they refused, we tried virtual therapy with her & she refused, therapy was becoming a hassle for my child every time he had to go to speech but was fine in OT . The facility did nothing about the situation & eventually kicked him out of speech therapy because his speech therapist complained she couldn't successfully teach him if she didn't see him( we rescheduled for other therapist for his comfort which he enjoyed & also because of transportation issues). The only one that complained was his speech therapist not his OT therapist. I felt like my son & I were not taken seriously when I talked to the facility & Manager about the issue, as they sided with the speech therapist even doe his OT therapist agreed with us. I told them my son would never go to their facility again. The speech therapist gave up on my son & Weisman did too. No family should go unheard when it comes to their little ones. We as parents want the best & if we see our child is done wrong it's only right to speak up for them because no one else will. Weisman showed me they won't speak up, they'll just sweep it under the rug.

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation has done wonders for my Miracle 6-yr-old Cameron. It's not enough praise in my body to give the staff for all they've done to make my son and family feel cared for. All the way from Doctor Domingo, therapists, nursing staff, receptionist, play area aides and cleaning crew everyone has been stellar . Bitter sweet that my son's leaving soon because he has done great things in a short period of time at Weisman.

This facility is clean, plenty of parking, able to get in immediately, and actually takes insurance! The OT and student were great with our daughter, kept her attention, caring, and listened to our concerns. I just wish they could observe her at daycare and do therapy with other children as that is the area of concern, not playing with adults.

I honestly can say we had a horrible experience. Scheduling is a nightmare. They knew our scheduling constraints and the distance we were traveling. My baby also requires a second person in the car to take care of her. I was limited as to when I had someone available. The second we walked in they tried to push adaptive equipment on us. It felt like they were digging for insurance money. My daughter has been in therapy elsewhere and they do not agree with Weisman's assessment. All the equipment she supposedly needed would have not been needed by the time it was approved and received. After only meeting us 5 minutes earlier, they decided what my families needs were. At this point, my daughter wouldn't even get off my lap. The icing on the cake was I received a letter stating I did not return phone calls, etc. To the contrary, I returned numerous phone calls but nobody seems to know who to transfer you to. Communication is horrendous. One of the call I told them they we not a fit for my family and we would like to cancel all farther appointments. I received a letter stating that we haven't followed up. No, we chose elsewhere and notified them. If you have limited availability as most of us do dealing with multiple specialties, therapies, life commitments, save you time. If you want all the (unnecessary) equipment and poor communication, Weisman is it. Zero stars.

My daughter spent a month learning how to take care of her Type 1 diabetes. My only complaint is, I wish the program was longer. The staff, everyone there was wonderful. I was even able to stay over whenever I wanted. They really helped her and she had to be convinced to go there and then was so happy that she did it!
