My rehab went quickly & in a very short time thanks to everyone there. I will mention the extra kindness of Dr Salazar, nurse April, all the rehab staff, my transporter and even Prince, the young man that so pleasantly delivered my food tray. The entire staff encouraged me to do & be the best I could. I will eagerly let others know that Walton, Encompass has a higher and better standard of Rehabilitation. Thank you, Patricia Taylor.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother received during her stay at Walton Rehabilitation Center. While the physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) teams were professional, attentive, and provided excellent care, our experience with Dr. Ward was the complete opposite. Dr. Ward was pretentious and dismissive, often brushing off our concerns instead of addressing them. Her lack of empathy and unwillingness to listen significantly impacted my mother's overall care. It was clear that she was more interested in appearing knowledgeable than actually helping her patients. As a result of the poor medical oversight, I had to take my mother to the hospital immediately after her stay at Walton. This could have been avoided if Dr. Ward had taken our concerns seriously. I cannot recommend Walton Rehabilitation Center, especially as long as Dr. Ward is involved in patient care.

I met a patient recently at another facility. He recently stayed at Walton for 2 weeks after a major surgery/illness. Him and his family had such good things to report. They were complimentary about the nurses, therapy staff and their mobility results. Keep up the hard work!

The physical therapists are caring people striving to ensure that all of their patients reach their maximum potential. Their dedication to the improvement of the physical skills of each patient is clearly evident!

My mother was badly mistreated by a physical therapist named Chris. He was very aggressive with her verbally and physically. Other staff members mentioned to him about his behavior and he became argumentative to them as well. My mother cried because she was afraid of him. He would push her verbally telling her “You can do it!” If she mentioned to him about his aggressive behavior he would tell her “ That’s the way I am!” He was hollering at her across the PT room “ Lillie keep going you have another round to go!” This man has serious mental issues. This needs to be taken care of asap! Otherwise he will bring this establishment down. Other than that my mom was treated with the utmost respect by the nurses and the janitor Mr. Rick keeps the establishment very clean. Kudos to Mr. Rick for being nice and caring and hardworking.

Nice, clean facility as well as a great exercise area that focuses on PT and OT. Also, WR has a wonderful PT, OT, ST and Nursing Staff who show a lot of care and encouragement to their patients. Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Social Workers and Front Desk Staff who all do such an amazing job. The only negative comment I have is they need more Nurses. As I stated previously, the nursing staff is great, there are just not enough of them to go around.

The staff was exceptional in every way! They served my mom with care and with a smile everyday. The facility was clean and organized. I was able to sit In on her therapy sessions and learn many techniques to assist her once discharged. We met angels in scrubs! My mom and I were extremely blessed and fortunate to experience Walton Hospital.
