Went in today wait time was long but they were busy so i understand. What I don't understand is being rushed out after complaining of ear pain and the nurse barely looked into both ears said its just some "minor redness and irritation should be no pain" as I am IN PAIN as she's looking. And wouldn't you know I go to the er and I have an ear infection. Nurse practioner here has no idea what she is doing younger ladies are fine along with the younger nurse practioner is great always super helpful and does every step of her job but the older woman is just rude constantly downplaying symptoms and just Blatantly incorrect with most diagnoses. Never really feels like she wants you to get better more like just get out of my place please.

I left this urgent care feeling thoroughly disappointed and neglected. The recurring behavior I’ve witnessed from a particular nurse practitioner here speaks volumes about the lack of attentiveness and care. This urgent care, located in an urban area and often serving Black and Brown patients, deserves better. Each visit has followed a similar pattern. The medical assistants consistently do their jobs kindly, thoroughly, and routinely. But when it comes time for the nurse practitioner to assess the patient, it all falls apart. She barely stands, instead sitting down as if uninterested, performing only the bare minimum. She does not know that I am a nurse, and therefore it’s second nature for me to recognize both proper patient care and effective clinical judgment. One particular experience stands out. I came in with flu symptoms unlike anything I’d had before, and I expressed my concern that it might be something serious. I asked, “Would it be possible to get a COVID and flu test?” but she dismissed my symptoms, insisting, “I really don’t think it’s necessary. You can probably just treat this at home with over-the-counter medication.” I insisted again, “I’d feel much better knowing for certain.” After some reluctance, she finally agreed, and the results confirmed my suspicion—I was positive for the flu. Even then, she barely returned to discuss the results. Instead, she just poked her head in to tell me the test was positive, with no further guidance on managing my symptoms. Another time, I brought my daughter in for a possible case of strep throat. My daughter complained of sinus and ear pain in addition to the sore throat, so I was expecting a thorough examination. Instead, the nurse practitioner glanced at my daughter’s throat briefly and suggested, “Just treat her with some over-the-counter meds. She’ll likely improve on her own.” I spoke up, “Are you sure we shouldn’t test for strep? Her symptoms seem severe.” Reluctantly, she finally agreed to the test, but dismissed the need for any further checks. When my daughter’s symptoms worsened, we took her to the Cleveland Clinic Emergency Room, where they found she was positive for both strep and another viral infection. We left the ER with a clear treatment plan and a prescription, which gave us some peace of mind. Yet another instance involved my son, who is a professional fighter. We came to the urgent care due to a concerning skin rash that had worsened and seemed potentially infectious. The nurse practitioner barely looked at the area before saying, “Just clean it with soap and water. It doesn’t look like anything serious.” I pushed back, “Are you sure? His skin has broken, and he’s in a high-contact sport.” She dismissed my concerns and sent us home without even suggesting further tests or topical treatments. With my clinical judgment, I was able to manage the condition initially and then followed up with his primary care provider, who confirmed my suspicion—it was an infection and required antibiotics. This nurse practitioner consistently seems disinterested and dismissive. She frequently brushes off patient concerns, rushes through examinations, and hesitates to prescribe medication, routinely suggesting only over-the-counter options. In a community like this, where urgent care serves as a critical health resource for minority patients, it’s essential to have a provider who genuinely cares about patients’ health and well-being. This urgent care deserves a provider who listens to patient concerns, exhibits sound clinical judgment, and takes time to ensure that each patient leaves feeling properly cared for.

I only went to this location because the urgent care on tower was full. Checking in with a lady on a computer when there were two people behind the desk was odd but ok. The lady who did vitals was nice. The lady who came in I guess a Dr no introduction no nothing. Stood by the door told me my laryngitis was due to coughing even though that occurred 3 days before any coughing or anything. Looked in one ear said it shouldn't hurt nothing was wrong. Told me I needed to realize people get colds and just deal with it, it could last for 2 weeks. No listening to my lungs nothing. Absolutely would not recommend anything except additional training for this "doctor".

Horrible experience! Do not go there! If I could give them NO stars I would! I took my son there because he was pretty sick and I thought maybe he had strep. He seen Nurse Practitioner Lisa, the MA did the swab. Lisa came in gave us the results (negative) She did not examine him at all. Didn’t look in mouth, check ears, listen to his lungs, Nothing. No touch contact at all! Told us results and what OTC meds we could get and sent us out. I ended up taking him to Cleveland Clinic the following morning, the dr sent him to ER and then he was transported to main campus ICU he had Mono, was severely dehydrated and spent 3 nights in ICU because his BP was really low! I reached out to this place to tell them what happened, the manager gave me the owners email. I have emailed him 3 times with NO RESPONSE, but still getting a bill! A bill for what??? There was NO exam even done by the provider! That NP should not be practicing!

I really don't like that check-in was virtual with somebody from another country but the rudeness of the last doctor was completely unacceptable simply because I don't agree with her covid beliefs. She didnt even testing for covid, she just felt the need to have the conversation and then mumble under her breath when I didn't agree.

There was no wait, they took me back after checking in with the lady in the computer. Sweet lady checked me in, and the Doctor did her job.
