Wadesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center

My wife Dolly's Mom has been a resident of Wadesboro Health and Rehabilitation since July, 2024. She is 95 years young and was able to stay in her home until July. She is so happy and satisfied with her new home here and has been from the first day. EVERYONE has been so compassionate and caring for Lucy that she has come to love each one. She has made lots of friends with staff and patients. We think they love her as much as she loves them, and we do too! Everyone treats her like a Queen and she loves the attention! We believe that genuinely caring for a patient is the number one issue, but knowledge and professional care is just as important, and the staff is number one in that respect also. EVERYONE is number one in our opinion! We brought Lucy to Wadesboro Health because of convenience (it is only 2 miles from our home). We now know it was a true blessing from God. It is the very best place we could have chosen!!! We are so very thankful for this place and EVERY ONE OF THE STAFF! May God bless you all and please keep up the great work! We can honestly recommend this place to anyone looking for a compassionate, caring, and professional skilled nursing facility! You all are the BEST!!!!!!!

I was a patient in your facility for a couple of weeks just recently. I’d like to let you know just how I feel about the facility. Granted, the building is old; however it is very clean and well kept! There is always someone cleaning. You can see yourself in the floors. The bed linens are changed every day which a patient appreciates. The food for most of the time is excellent! One can’t always choose something that everyone loves! The office personnel is on top of everything! They don’t have to fumble for your questions, they give an answer immediately. Plus, they are very friendly. What a great group to be working in the facility. You should be very proud to have them employed. Last, but certainly not least, the nurses and all the other help is to be given an A. They are always so busy and so professional and very helpful. This is a great facility and one I am proud to call is located in Anson County! A special thanks to my case manager Carrie Bunn! Would I return to this facility? Most definitely.

They all treated my mother with so much compassion and dignity. I can not say enough about this hidden gem. All parts of this place is worth bragging on, the PT, OT, nursing staff (RN, LPN and CNA)and administrators! And my picky eater of a mother, enjoyed her meals. Thank you all for taking such good care of my mother.

It's old and dirty and I've killed roaches in my MILs room. The paint is awful and depressing. 2 beds in 1 tiny room and severely under staffed. Yes, she has been transferred away from this place. I've done ministry in jail houses that are nicer than this place. These people have lived their entire lives and deserve a better ending than this. It needs a total remodel inside and out, hire more staff or close down.

I will ever be grateful for the wonderful care my mom received while at Wadesboro Health and Rehab. From the front door to the back door every staff member was always helpful, pleasant and genuinely seemed concerned about my mother's quality of care. Anytime I had a question (and there were a lot sometimes) I always received a quick response whether it was nursing, rehab, social services , medical provider or another member of the team and they never seemed rushed when discussing her care with me. So glad I decided to take her to Wadesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center as it was a choice well made!

My sister was there for a bit for rehabilitation to learn to walk and care for herself after an illness. We could not have asked for a more professional and caring staff for my sisters care and instruction. With the assistance of those that cared for her she was able to become self sufficient in less time that the doctor had anticipated. My sister herself enjoyed the personal attention she felt she received, bragged on the food and enjoyed the experience as much as anyone in her situation could. As well as this she made friends with other residents that she still keeps in contact with. I feel that is a plus for her and them alike. As a family member I feel my sister was cared for extremely well. The facility was always clean and lively. The staff was always very professional, caring and knowledgeable. They were able to explain medical stuff in terms we could understand if needed and always had an answer for any questions we had. I would (and have) highly recommend Wadesboro Health and Rehab.

Wadesboro Health and Rehab is the perfect rehab facility for my mother in law. The facility is upkept nicely and the staff care for her in such a lovely way. I am confident in our family's decision to choose this facility for her.

Absolutely love Wadesboro Health and Rehab, the staff has been amazing! Our family member has been staying here for over a month and the staff has helped us understand every detail from her medical needs, financial needs and general care. The care she has received is exceptional. Staff has also assisted transporting her to and from appointments in a very safe and timely manner. I am able to leave my family member knowing they are well taken care of and extremely happy. Thank you so much for everything (Donna, Susan, Collett, Lacey, Mackayla, Cerisa and the entire staff), Wadesboro is truly blessed to have all of you!
