My experience with Stephanie/Volante Physical Therapy and Performance has been fantastic and I highly recommend her! Her treatment (strength and mobility exercises) and return-to-running plans were able to get me from being in too much pain to run with tendinopathy to running the Crown King Scramble 50k in under 3 months. Her plans, communication, and encouragement were outstanding. I trusted her plan - even when I was getting impatient - and it absolutely paid off!

I came to Stephanie after being injured for almost 2 years. After 3 doctors, many different medical suggestions (boots, cortisone shots, even a scooter), and two attempts at going to your traditional insurance approved physical therapist I was referred to Stephanie because she was a running coach/PT. I thought she was kidding when she told me that there was a physical therapist out there that did both. So post a few shock wave therapy treatments I started seeing Stephanie back in august of 2021. After lots of patience with my mental health and my physical health six months with strength and mobility training have flown by, and I am the strongest I have ever been in my legs and walking 98 percent pain free. One thing I love about her care is that she exhausts all options for treatment and care and specifically tests the body’s strength and mobility before carefully creating workouts that fit with your lifestyle (if you have access to gym or not) and to your injury as it changes. My injury has been through many phases and through each phase she has taught me to trust my body more in its ability to heal. She has taught me the value in respecting where your body is and what it needs at that given time, and how important the healing process truly is. I’ve learned more in the amount of time with Stephanie about how to be a more impactful athlete without having to compete with myself and just enjoy the process of becoming the healthy individual I want to be. A month ago I went for my very first run, slow, but the most active activity I have done on my feet in nearly 3 years. I’m extremely grateful that I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on my healing, and excited that I get to offload from my pt program when my body is ready and start running coaching through her. The excitement of knowing that exercise is possible was the best gift that anyone could have given me in the last year. This review I feel doesn’t even begin to touch the surface of how wonderful this experience has been/will be. Thank you Stephanie for your incredible attention to detail, your patience, your ability to empathize, and for being the absolute best pt/running coach ever. I will be referring any of my friends with a sad injury to you. You deserve this review! Cheers!

Stephanie is absolutely amazing! I met Stephanie with the goal of returning to running after knee surgery. I was “bone on bone” but had been cleared to run by my Orthopedist unless I had pain. Stephanie provided education and a realistic strength training plan to keep me running pain free.

I was referred to Stephanie by Full Circle Orthopedics after getting an X-Ray on my left ankle. I came frustrated because I was working with another Physical Therapy group and after 5 sessions with them I didn't see any progress and I was still having pain. When I met Stephanie I noticed the difference in service. She is very knowledgeable and 100% dedicated to help you heal. The ability to have communication with her is something that I truly value. We planned six visits and I am on my 4th with exercises to do home. I have slowly gotten back to my running and hope to be fully recovered by the end of this month. I would recommend any athlete and non athlete to Stephanie in a heartbeat.

Stephanie is simply amazing. She tailored to my therapy needs as a runner and excelled in specializing my exercises. I was able to run pain free for months and train for a marathon. Stephanie is patient, attentive and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friend/family.

5 Stars and then some!!! The wisest decision I made was working with Dr. Steph through my stress fracture injury. She is hands down one of the best in the industry. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Steph’s vast knowledge, her approach to tailoring workouts and plans to promote healing and prevent further injury, her incredible empathy, and how she held me accountable through her motivation and follow-ups. She is a major component of my accelerated recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Steph to anyone. She’s absolutely wonderful!

After two ankle surgeries and many physical therapists later , being an Ex gymnast I was not happy with my progress post second surgery and I was recommended to Steph by a fellow PT and I can honestly say I am back to running( progressively) again! A lot less constant pain and feeling much stronger , stable , and have great exercises to consistently do if things flair up again that I know will work for whenever I need it. Her plans were easy to follow and it was worth every penny! Toe yoga here to save the day!! Thank you Steph!

Stephanie is an amazing PT! She helped me recover from a strained hamstring and I was able to get to the starting line of the JFK 50 healthy and run pain free. She examined my injury, provided insight, exercises and did dry needling I was able to run through the Injury as well, with reduced mileage and was happy to continue to keep fitness level. I highly recommend Stephanie!
