Victoria Post Acute Care

My husband was there for 6 weeks for rehabilitation. All the staff and PT staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the facility is older, it was always clean. The food was OK, standard facility food. They followed his dietary needs and any special requests we asked for. We would definately recommend Victoria Post Acute Care.

My mom stayed at this facility for 5 weeks while recovering from a severe bacterial infection. The staff were absolutely lovely. The nurses always kept myself and siblings informed on my moms progress. My mom was offered fun and creative activities to spend her day. We especially loved the kitchen staff; each and every one of them were so kind and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend sending a loved one here

I cannot speak highly enough of the therapy and nursing team at Victoria Post Acute Care. When my family member suffered a hip injury, we were overwhelmed with worry. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the team provided a level of care that exceeded all expectations. Communication was a standout strength. They took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of our family member's treatment plan, ensuring that we were always well-informed and involved in the decision-making process. Their clear and compassionate communication helped to alleviate our worries and allowed us to focus on supporting our loved one's recovery. Throughout the healing process, they went above and beyond to ensure not only the physical well-being of our family member but also their emotional and mental well-being. They created a warm and supportive environment where our family member felt comfortable and cared for. The overall care provided by Dawn Thompson and her team was truly some of the best I have ever experienced. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to their patients set them apart. Highly recommend.

The Victoria Post Acute Care facility is incredible! The staff are so sweet and I felt very comfortable leaving my family member in their care! Being across the country had me nervous at first but the communication back and forth about her care was consistent and thorough. I always felt in the know, which was perfect for my family and I! 5 stars all the way!

This is by great lengths the most substandard care facility I’ve ever experienced. It’s filthy; medical care is negligible; the food is atrocious (with no regard for critical dietary needs); service animals can defecate at will right outside patient rooms with no clean up; necessary scheduled care can be flatly denied; Covid precautions are not enforced and Covid area is inadequately cordoned off with just a move theatre-style separator (see photo); unsatisfactory supervision of patients with dementia; even the exterior is filthy. I could say more but I hope this convinces you to keep your loved ones far away from this poorly run facility.

BE CAREFUL! People’s urine left in open areas - A URINE DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN! GROSS!

First off, I’d like to express my gratitude towards Jorge one of the CNA’s that assisted my family member. He was so attentive and detailed every step of the way with his care. Answered each question we had with such patience. The staff as a whole flowed and were very compassionate. I was always greeted with a smile and asking how they can help. The care given was amazing. My family member was very content during his stay. I recommend them over and over!

amazing facility, wonderful and happy staff. The smile on their face is what makes things go easier. Treated my sister very well. She received a lot of help with recovering from her accident. So happy she was able to recover here at Victoria and get her physical therapy. Thanks to all the Cnas, med nurses, pt, social services and head department that was involved in her care here you guys are all amazing.
