Ventura Orthopedics | Therapy Services - Simi Valley

I have had 2 total knee replacements the first May 22,2024 and second on September 11,2024. I have had two very positive experiences with Ventura Orthopedics. Thank you to all the hospital workers at Los Robles and physical therapist in Simi Valley for doing their jobs so efficiently. Mostly I would like to thank Dr Turk. He is an amazing surgeon and took excellent care of me both times. This was the hardest thing I have ever done but the support I have received from VO made it a lot easier for me. I'm still doing the work and it's still hard at times but I am on the other side and am confident I will be 100% soon!!

Ventura Orthopedic therapy staff are great. They have helped my tremendously with my TKR . There are days I come out of therapy and my leg and knee is totally a noodle from the work they had me put in to strengthen it, I’ve come along way with there help and support. I appreciate how they’re determined to get me to my best possible outcome. Everyone is so nice from the front desk to all therapists. I definitely recommend them.

Between Dr Siva and the stellar team at the Physical Therapy Center I am pleased to say that my shoulder surgery/Physical Therapy sessions/recovery have exceeded my expectations. Everyone I came in contact with was professional, kind and knowledgeable in their area of care. A special shout out to PT, DPT Sydney Brandes who demonstrated a calming and professional presence, always attentive, supportive with strong patient-centered communication style that made this journey smooth and successful. The experience at Ventura Orthopedics has been wonderful. The surgeon was top-tier, and all the staff from the office to the medical staff were so helpful as I worked through a big shoulder operation. My Thank you to Dr. Hartman and team for taking such great care of me.

I experienced prompt attention at the front desk and by my therapist to commence treatment. Initial assessment went smoothly and my therapist, Breanna, was compassionate and attentive while measuring, recording and guiding me through exercises. My next visit incorporated more exercises and shared conversation. I look forward to progressing through recovery in this caring environment and while gaining more strength and flexibility post surgery.

Dr Hartman in lightened me on problems I am having with my shoulder. He is very knowledgeable, polite, sympathetic. I am now doing physical therapy with his team, which is doing a great job.

It's not the setback - it's the comeback! That's what my graduation shirt says and it is so true. I am thrilled with the support and guidance that I received from Sydney and Jack and everyone at Ventura Orthopedic in Simi Valley. I came in fairly defeated with my lack of mobility after suffering a trimalleolar fracture and surgery. But from day one, my team picked me up and cared for me and gave me the support I needed to not only get my mobility back but get my spirits back up. Another great feature was the ability for the therapy team to communicate directly with my surgeon and his team. I give them my highest recommendation if you should ever need their assistance. I also learned that I am really good at picking up marbles with my feet - probably a useless skill - but fun to learn something new and have fun while getting back on my feet.
