Terrible experience from moment my appointment was made over 1.5 month almost 2 months ago, I was in pain then and needed help then, Only for them to be run over by the oldest bunch of AARP helpless great grandmas and great grandpas I've ever seen. Then receptionist was good but out numbered and what is sad is that if I had a lawyer refer me instead of my doctor I would've been seen earlier and moved to front of line. This place is a total hustle and a waste of time, I hope my doctor can refer me to a more professional place I guess I'll just have to wait til my back goes out again. Not recommending this place to anybody -2 stars in my opinion.

I broke my arm, my humerus, and was in a Great Deal of Pain! The Pain actually brought me to tears! I couldn't sleep, brush my hair, cut my food, or even put on deodorant. Gabriel, Mike, Mike, Nermin, and Grace and Tina, along with me, made Team Irene. Together we had a plan, worked very hard, and met with success! Thank you for everything!

I visited Vargo Physical Therapy Offices for 4 sessions for my back, and my experience was a bit mixed. On my first visit. the front desk receptionist assumed I was under 18 years old, which was a bit off-putting and wanted my "parent to come in for a signature" (I may look young but not that young). I feel it is important for staff to avoid making assumptions based on appearances, as it can impact the overall customer experience. Another issue I encountered was the staffing situation. Despite there being multiple tables open, it seemed like there wasn't enough staff to attend to everyone efficiently. There were multiple occassions where I finished all my stretches and had to wait for the physical therapist. I met with Luke most of the time, he was very kind and helpful, but I didn't feel that way about everyone I worked with. On a positive note, the eventual care I received for my back concerns was semi effective in strengthening my core. However, I can't overlook the initial challenges that made the experience less than ideal.

After years of being very active and a few of those years in pain, I had knee replacement at UCLA. My surgeon arranged for my rehabilitation at Vargo. I have been thrilled with my progress. This is mostly due to the professionals that I’ve encountered at Vargo. The physical therapists and their professional assistants that work with patients have exceeded my expectations. They develop a documented plan that is specific to each individual and adjust it as needed. If I’m having problems with an exercise, there is always someone monitoring me to help or correct me. I’m thankful to the team at Vargo. If it wasn’t for their care, I wouldn’t have been able to return to keeping up with my grandson and Pilates!

They were unable to cure simple groin muscle pain after 12 sessions.

Vargo has many locations like a fast food chain. Unfortunately, like a fast food chain, that's how patients are treated. By that I mean, if you have a knee injury, they put you on the "knee program" or if you have a shoulder injury they put you on the "shoulder program". By that I mean the program is a generic set of PT exercises that even a simple google search can help you with. Simply put, there is no genuine 1:1 to get your own set of exercises customized for your particular injury. There are many bones, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage in a specific body part that can be injured in unique ways, so a generic exercise may not necessarily do. I've been to several PT facilities, and Vargo is the only place I felt like I ordered at McDonald's. There are many members that look like they run like a team, but you can't get to know them and they don't really care to know you. What really needs improvement is the reception and staff who deal with authorizations. They simply don't care. You have to actively follow up and prod them and prod them to get authorizations approved. Sometimes 3 weeks go by without action, and because of the duration of wait, you lose moment and any progress of recovery from your injury regresses. I really am disappointed that they have convinced many medical providers to refer patients to Vargo.

I have been to other places for physical therapy and this place tops them all. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for care. The family atmosphere is great! It’s nice when I’m having a bad day & the pain is overwhelming to come here since I’m not made to feel like another number. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive. They honestly go out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed each & every time you visit.Dave,Ellie,Jenna, and Eric are incredible to work with. The aids on staff here give great massages, and help patients with their exercises. I don’t think I have ever gone to any medical appointment & been offered water or freshly made coffee. All of my questions or concerns have always been answered or addressed no matter how simple the answer is. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to book my appointments in advance & have them printed out for me to be able to keep track of. And as your leaving attacking the Red Vines is a must!
