I am a patient since 4/22, since than I have been prescribed a medication I was either allergic to or a horrible negative reaction (I received finger pointing at my PCP or myself that I didn't take legitimately, zero empathy or help with treatment) I went 2 months, losing my job with such awful symptoms as well as 2 ER visits, than the suicidal ideations that Southeast was aware of and ZERO concern. Also in 16 months as a patient I had 6 different psychiatrists. Than having numerous negative/argumentative contact with receptionists who cussed me out.

Doctors orders from UCH Spine Center and Valleywide IGNORED. Told I was not a priority for hydrotherapy... now have dual inguinal hernias necessitating surgery. Thanks to the physical therapists who ignored doctors orders!!!

I came in to get physician approval for my psych med prescription, or at least do the intake. My data wouldn't work in the building to check the Medicaid app, and they couldn't pull my information up on their computers due to all of them having some sort of difficulty this morning. A lady asked for a mask and was discouraged from receiving one. If this weren't the location that came up on the official Colorado Medicaid app, I wouldn't believe this place was a legitimate facility. I'll take my chances staying unmedicated until I get back to Denver in a week.

The revolving door therapy is more harmful than good. The counselors are unprofessional and unprepared for real world experience. My children and husband have been medical patients there as well. The nurse practitioner is not available as much as needed even for emergency appointments. She appears to be more interested in being a mom than a professional as we've had appointments cancelled when she is supposed to be sick and later seen her at various school functions during the time she was supposed to be working.

I was a patient until recently when after having a stroke I had to wait until the next week in order to see Kali Mae. I had an appointment scheduled for a week and two days after leaving the hospital and was informed the day of the appointment that she wasn't available as she was sick. Later that day I went to the school were low and behold Kali Mae was there to bring treats to her daughter. This isn't the first time that she canceled an appointment with me in order to go to functions unrelated to her job. I've seen her at a lot of places track meets, assemblies and other games. So if you want a nurse practitioner that will cancel your appointment even if It's very important she's perfect for you.

When helping me fill out the forms, my husband wrote that I was indigent. It should have said indigenous. The ignoramuses purposefully added "indigent", or "homeless" to my records and have attempted it against me since. Obtain Olanzapine to withdraw from illegal medical scripts, and false psych incarcerations, as I did. You are suffering side effects of maliciously prescribed medication. Tap my name above with your finger for more reviews by me.

Just when I was feeling my worst, I was discharged. Overall, they are okay, not great. Some things were significantly better than others. My comments cover my experience with multiple providers at this business. Parking: Usually sufficient, easy to locate, handicap accessible. Power doors if needed. Waiting room: Limited seating during busy hours. Play area for children. Not many magazines- bring something to do. Wait time: Depending on the provider, my wait time has usually been under ten minutes, however, one provider was regularly 20 minutes late each time. This shows lack of organization & disregards the interest of the patients. I estimate I've wasted an entire day of my life in their waiting room. This is unacceptable and shows my biggest overall complaint: there is a lack of respect for the client's time, thus, their life. Reception staff: Friendly enough, yet it is inappropriate to make disparaging comments about the mentally ill. Mental illness does not impact one's hearing. This is basis for termination. Scheduling an appointment: When someone calls in crisis, blocking them from scheduling an appointment because your records indicate they missed an appointment they never scheduled with a provider they never heard of can have irreversible consequences and has no place in mental health. Physicians & nursing staff: Knowledgeable and competent. Flexible scheduling. Easy to work with. Very friendly. Intake Staff: Unremarkable, but competent. Peer counselors: Amazing, life saving. An asset to this organization. Therapy staff: Varies according to therapist. Some suggestions: Refrain from finishing a client's statement. It gives a rushed feeling to the process. Beware of finishing a client's statement with answers which violate their cultural or religious beliefs. For example, after numerous recounts of my story 'finished' by the therapist with, "...and then you had sex." It was awkward. I'm sorry, but just because I'm mentally ill does not mean I sleep around. Odd. If you are patient, I will finish my own sentences. Refrain from using your computer during therapy. It shows a deep disinterest in what I'm saying and is distracting. Refrain from checking your cell phone, or communicating with others in the hallway when I'm mid-sentence. It just shows you aren't invested in my healing as much as I am, which is a role-reversal I've yet to encounter in mental health before. I'm giving two stars based on a comparison of past similar organizations. Please note, my previous two star rating was for a physician who is now serving life in prison, who, after being a patient here, has been bumped up to a three star so SEHG could take the two star position.

The people at Southeast Mental Health Group are very kind and helpful. They have served me well in providing a variety of treatment services for my mental health and substance use disorder. The cost is affordable and the services offered are helpful. I would strongly recommend SEHG for anyone struggling with either disorder.
