Valley Springs Rehabilitation and Health Center

My father is here, upon my 1st visit the place wreaks of urine. Horribly. Some of the nurses are great and some are not. The place looks old and dated. Needs a remodel and updated equipment. If we had another place to put my father we would. Do not bring your loved ones here. They cannot get my dad to shower and “cannot force him” so he’s always unkempt and dirty until my family comes around to get him to go into the shower (much easier). Overall if you love your family don’t put them here if you want to leave them somewhere to rot then this is the place. Maybe they could change my mind one day but the current state of the facility is morbid. They are suppose to move my dad into an all men’s wing since he’s in a wing with women who steal items from his room and out items in there. I didn’t see many staff members even in the hallway he’s in they were all outside talking in the main lobby. There is a low level care taken here and for a patient with Alzheimer’s it’s unacceptable.

My sister Addie Kelly was a resident at Valley Springs from 2014 til her passing Easter Sunday 2019. I was fortunate to visit her often and even spend nights with her. Iv Nothing but great reports to say about the Staff. Nurses, Dietary, Laundry, And Administration, ALL were wonderful to Addie! I will always remember these marvelous hard working, loving People🥰💕

Overworked employees and zero appreciation...only requirement is showing up and 'smiling' all the time. Maintenance is a joke, unless they know state is coming. Most residents are left in the hall or bed, usually covered in food or urine. Bedbugs run rampant and cockroaches. Literally the worst I have ever seen. Definitely would not recommend placing someone you love and care about here. Unfortunately, the good employees get targeted and forced to quit.

Staff is very nice.. They seem to really Care about the patients. The building is coming together now that they have new owners its really starting to look nice.. I would put my family in here.

My husband has been in there for a little over a week it is a great place everyone is friendly they treat u like family

The administration is great and the nurses and CNAs seem to really care about the patients
