Back in March of 2024 my Grandmother got placed here for her rehab after a knee replacement surgery. This place is VERY rundown, all the occupants are too loud with no courtesy for others that would want some quiet time. One of the CNAs told my grandmother that couldn't have her inhaler when taking a shower, even though she was almost in the midst of an asthma attack. My Aunt requested that they call her if ANYTHING is done that she should know about, and they NEVER called her. The last straw that made us all angry and have to take her out of this place, is my Grandmother had a doctor's appointment, which is fine, this place had transportation for her, and that's great, but they never went back to pick her up. She was at her doctor's office for over 4 hours just sitting there and waiting to be picked up. After that we had to take her out of this place and just bring her home. I 1000 percent DO NOT recommend this place. None of Nurses here seem to care what you have to say when it comes to your loved one.

The people were all very good. Each and everyone of them went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, that all my needs were met and that I got to my doctor's appointments on time. I love each of them and appreciate them more than they'll ever know. I would recommend this facility to everyone. The physical therapy that I required for my foot/ankle area for to 2 fractures was planned out and done gradually enough that before I knew it I was walking everywhere! I will miss the staff dearly as they were each an inspiration and I've grown to care about each of them deeply. Now for the reason for the 4 stress instead of 5. I had to return to the hospital for several days. While I was gone the scissors my mom gave me disappeared, as did my favorite shirt and my shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner disappeared with in a few days before I left. It is a great place but get a locking suitcase and sleep with the key around your neck. It broke my heart that someone stole from me. I hope they get caught. Who knows what else they've taken from the other patients staying there! So terribly sad. The food is delicious most of the time! Creative menus, good food, and plenty of it. The person that makes the coffee during the week, needs to let someone else make it. It's awful until the weekend, then it's delicious! Sorry, but it's true.

My mother passed away July 21, 2024. She had $100 taken from her wallet. The pink post it said her name and amount of money she had but was perfectly ripped off. My aunt has visited 5 hours before her death and can verify she had all of it at that time. God bless

I would like to share what I observed while my sister was recovering at Valley Skilled Nursing Center. She was transferred there after surgery on a broken femur which required a steel rod. She was welcomed by the director then her skilled nursing team including her dietitian, physical therapist, occupational therapist and social worker. All coming together to plan her recovery. She received pain management as well as PR & OT daily as well as diet plan for her special needs! We are both very grateful to staff for the excellent care she has received during her stay there! And she had been receiving visits from wound care for over one year and within 2 months of treatment here her wound closed and was healed. I think Valley Skilled Nursing Center is the very best available care in the area! Both care and attitude of staff is a credit to the leadership of the director. What a blessing! 🙏 I’ve visited many friends recovering in other rehabs since 2017 since I moved to Active Senior Living see recovering friends! Ammon, your the best and I wish you success in all your endeavors❤️

A family member was transferred to this facility after knee replacement. She was transported by the facility to a scheduled follow-up dr's appt, BUT they "forgot" about picking her up. It took another family member to figure out that she had been forgotten about. She was basically abandoned...the patient is 78 yrs young. How does that happen?

This place could be very bad for people who need attention. My father was admitted at around 5pm. I came to check on him at 7:45pm. He had only diapers and some sheets on . But what alarms me is that no one gave him any fluids . I was concerned so the following morning I came and still no fluids he’s so bad and weak we called 911 had him back in the ER. This place is for younger or more functional folks. A death sentence for the old and or weak.oh yeah, this skilled nursing facility has no defibrillator. 911 operator asked if staff had one and staff said no defibrillator. Furthermore, my dads TV was broken, just depressing. Really wired staff when my father was there a cna was very attentive, but when you leave so do they. Sunday afternoon I receive a NO ID OR BLOCKED NUMBER. They called me and actually wanted me to come down and complete admission so they can get paid. I said no so she said, ok I can mail it? I gave address and before hanging up she grunted “ hungh “ like I got you. Really rude unprofessional. You really think I want to help you after your staff ate his KFC and left him for dead!
