Going here due to a wrist injury (bent hand backwards until it touched my forearm) for 8 months now, and the therapists have been exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable, able/willing to answer questions without looking them up (aka, they KNOW their practice), and while they work you hard, they also make you chuckle which has helped tremendously on bad days where the pain got too much. So much better than 'purely clinical' ones I've ran into previously elsewhere. I don't recommend getting injured, but if you do, go here first. Especially if its work related & your job gives you options between different therapists. Many of the staff are multilingual (Spanish and I think Portuguese(?)), which I've noticed has helped a lot of other patients in discussing their issues.

After knee replacement I did my physical therapy with Duane. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything about my exercises and where he wanted me to end up after therapy. The staff was friendly especially his intern who help guide me through therapy. I highly recommend this office for your therapy needs

After 6 months of back pain, after 2 chiropractors, and an incredibly discouraging primary care prognosis, I finally tried physical therapy. Following my first visit with Duane, my back pain improved. He was able to explain the issues and work with me to achieve the results I was hoping for. Now, 2 months later, I'm able to resume activities I feared were lost. I am so incredibly grateful to Duane and the staff at Valley Rehab and Physcial Therapy!

As a professional triathlete, I've worked with numerous physical therapists across the West Coast and Southwest, and I can confidently say that Valley Rehab Physical Therapy stands out as an absolute gem of a clinic. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, fostering a supportive environment that's wonderful for healing and recovery. When I started working with Alisa in early 2023, I was in a difficult place, recovering from my third hip surgery, shoulder surgery, an ankle injury, and a foot injury. These conditions made standing, walking, and nearly all forms of exercise either impossible or extremely painful. Alisa is not just an exceptionally knowledgeable physical therapist; she also goes above and beyond for her patients. She dedicates time outside of work hours to research and think about her patients, which truly demonstrates her passion for helping others and how much she cares. After my injuries took me away from the sport I love, I was feeling depressed. Alisa met me where I was, instilled hope in me, and helped me focus on what I could do, rather than what I couldn't. True to her prediction, I recovered over time, thanks to her careful and thoughtful guidance. Now, I no longer suffer from constant pain in my daily life. I'm back to racing my bike, swimming, lifting, hiking, and I'm on the verge of running again after years on the sidelines. Alisa’s help has been a tremendous blessing, and I cannot thank her enough for guiding me through one of the most challenging periods of my life.

Valley Rehab is the only physical therapy place I would recommend for athletes or active individuals. Duane Kiyota and the rest of the staff are professional, knowledgeable, and they adapt to you and where you’re at. I was able to recover from shoulder surgery and get back to doing the things I love faster than expected because of the work I did with Duane. It was an amazing feeling knowing that I had done everything right during my recovery when I started incorporating new movements at the gym. My mobility was better than I expected, my shoulder endurance was better than expected, and I had no pain. I would not have been able to do that without Duane. Have the confidence that you have the right team helping you on the road to recovery.

Valley Rehab is a great place for PT help! Friendly staff and therapists. Duane Kiyota is good at what he does as a therapist! He is efficient, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in a way that you can understand it! And he is also friendly and nice to talk with!

Would put down more than 5 stars if I could. Valley rehab is by far the best rehab facility that I have ever gone to, and I have been to a lot. All workers at this facility are extremely nice and their system is set up really well. If you have the pleasure of booking appointments with Duane Kiyota Jr. I would definitely recommend doing so. Duane is one of the smartest most passionate PT’s I have ever met and is extremely helpful in returning athletes to the playing field, and others to live happily, healthily, and pain free again. Duane does an excellent job pushing his patients to get their work in but also forms and maintains a personal relationship with all of his patients. I had the privilege of working with Duane pre and post surgery for my elbow and for over the course of a year he has helped me out tremendously. I credit my elbow health to him, and even when I am across the country playing baseball he still helps me out remotely.
