Trying to make an appointment is a nightmare. When you call you have to deal with someone who is not even at this location. Craziest thing I've ever heard of. Why should we have to talk to a third party instead of talking directly with the Pittsburg hospital, clinic, and so forth. This stinks!!! You treat us more like a number than a person. Your lack of concern for us to be able to deal with someone on sight is very disheartening. Your gatekeepers are turning us away from actually seeking the help we need. I'll hang up rather than continue to talk to someone who doesn't have any knowledge of what I'm talking about. Thanks but no thanks for your way of doing business. All compassion and understanding is thrown out the window when choosing to do business this way.

I would just like to say that UT Pittsburg has the best staff! They have proven to be very supportive and caring! When they treated my 83 yr old mother, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They take pride in their work and they really show love and treat you with respect. Thank you UT Pittsburg for all you done for my mother, and making her feel better ❤️🩹

Two of my children (ages 7 & 8) both had a tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Reed a few months apart from one another. I don’t have one single complaint. We were well taken care of at UT Health of Pittsburg. Every staff member, nurse and doctor were very helpful, friendly, patient, & informative during our time there. They took great care of my kids!

Sliced my finger open and had to go get it stitched up. I arrived and was greeted very politely during shift change and as I sat down to fill out the paperwork they called me back. Before I got seated good in the room the Doctor showed up and determined I needed stitches. I was in an out of there in 30 minutes or less and considering the circumstances it was the best ER visit I have ever had. My place to go when you play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Highly recommend!

Every One and ICU Was very attentive. And very great, very kind, very helpful. Checked on me all of the time. I do want to brag about Dietary, the manager come and spoke to me about the other options that I had to choose from. If I didn't like the ones they were serving. She was really great and very helpful. The roast beef was amazing and I am grateful for them. When I got sent down to the floor however it was a little different but I know the nurses are busy and they have much to do. There was an aide they set outside my room. And was there every time that I needed anything very helpful? Totally recommend UT health Tyler. I Begin my journey, the u t health in pittsburg. They were always amazing. Danita was my nurse very thoughtful Helpful attentive very caring. My second nurse. His name is lane. He's also very caring thoughtful and attentive. They're one of my favorites. They both took great care of me from beginning to end. Doctor Cox was amazing as always. He takes good care of you. He gets you out as fast as he can with doing the best care that he can. I begged him not to let me go to ICU. But he made me anyway. And it's the best thing that ever happened to me. I love everybody in that hospital. From radiology to the floor nurses to the ER just everybody is so awesome. They are family

My son in law went to this hospital ER last week. He went due to an injury to the eye. He is a welder and had thought he burned his eye. He was seen by the ER doctor. They claimed they completely looked at his eye. They claimed he had burned his eye and prescribed him and antibiotic for his eye. Said there was nothing in eye.The eye did not heal so they went to eye dr today. Come to find out, He had a piece of metal in his eye. It had been in the eye long enough to start rusting. So the eye dr said it had to have been in there when he went to ER. So because of the neglect of the ER dr, he could have had severe problems had the eye dr not found it. I do not recommend this ER. Remember no insurance means " minimum care"

My son had a seizure, he was diagnosed with a “possible ear infection” and we were told it was not a seizure. He had another seizure a month later, and we were referred to a neurologist that diagnosed him with epilepsy. This hospital charged us $4000 dollars for our child to be misdiagnosed. That is more than the cost of the birth of our youngest child, and they will not accept payment plans. I do not recommend this facility to anyone for emergency services.

My husband had a TERRIBLE experience here on Friday August 2nd. Admitted with abdominal pain and severe back pain. They did a few test and sent him home without any meds or any direction other than follow up with pcp in 3 days. Well yesterday came around and he couldn’t hang in any longer so we went to Longview hospitality er! Amazing experience there and guess what?! My husband was diagnosed with pan colitis. Something that should’ve been found Friday at the first er visit. Very very disappointing to have such a nice hospital in a small town be ran so poorly.
