Urgent Care of Pismo Beach

I ended up having to go to this office on the Saturday of Labor day weekend. I was in and out in no time and was given amazing care! The nurse practitioner was kind and thorough. I highly recommend this Urgent Care.

Slow and unfriendly. Waiting room the receptionist asked me the same question repeatedly she smirked and said, “I have a bad memory” Ummmm there were 3 patients in the waiting room and it’s your actual job to remember people. With only three other patients I waited over an hour only to have the nurse/aide not bother to introduce herself while she asked me questions that were explicitly on the forms in her hand (why I was in, etc.) and she was cold and impersonal. Thankfully I only needed a physical done, and the provider was lovely and communicated but the staff are the main face of any doctor’s office. I feel so sorry for the people who are sick, especially the children that are treated with such a lack of kindness. It takes no effort to extend that to people. And THAT is your jobs.

Came in one person in waiting room and 5 staff members. From out of town and needed a strep check and medication. Been here 2 hours, said 10 more minutes an hour ago. This is nonsense and not worth bothering wasting your time. Supposedly NP not doctor I’m fuming!!! Another patient came in over 45 minutes after me and was seen prior. Not sure what this world is coming to?

I was vacationing and got sick from an improperly cleaned airbnb. I needed to get care and this spot took my insurance. The staff was super friendly and provided quick service for my needs.

I've been to all of the different urgent care in the five cities. Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is excellent and the Doctors/Nurse practitioners are very nice and listen to your concerns. Have never had a bad experience. They are my go to for urgent care. And you never wait very long to be seen. Usually under 10 minutes.

Can’t say enough about this urgent care. I have gone there, so many times, even took my husband and my granddaughter. Today was great because I only was there less than an hour and I had x-rays. Sometimes you do have to wait a little bit, so be patient. Staff is very friendly.

I’ve been here at least a half a dozen times and all the staff are great! Quick, efficient and friendly! Doctors are top notch and have always been able to successfully diagnose and treat any issues!

PA Kendra is hands down the best! I wish she worked for a doctor’s office so I could see her for wellness checks too. The ER and primary care dr couldn’t figure out correct meds for a simple UTI that turned into kidney infection, Kendra cured me. I bring my kids here whenever their pediatrician can’t get them in too.
