UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes

The nursing staff are great some of the counselors generally want to help but others aren't addicts and only know what they've read about or seen so they don't really relate and some counselors and techs like to talk down to you like your scum. The people you meet are usually great people but it's 12 hours of group a day from 7am to 7pm every single day except weekends you start at 9 but the groups are VERY REPETITIVE and it wears you out..I can't sit that long listening to pointless lectures but if you can more power to you.. If I was asked to go back I definitely wouldn't

I was recently just there, it wasnt my first rehab. I do gotta say the staff is wonderful, the community is great guy. But the size of it is way to small for 30 grown men. Plus having detox and residential together kinda sticks. When u gotta do groups 12 hrs a day u want to be able to sleep with no interruptions. Untill there is a bed open ur stuck with a detox room and nurses come in at night for the detox ppl . So u rarely will get a good sleep without being interuped. Food wasnt the best and breakfest is the stuff in ur hiuse that you eat for snack ect all day long. Get kind old fast

It's a very good program I was there and it helped me a great deal and the counselors,techs and nursing are all very helpful people and are great at what they do.I'm 13 months clean with the help of these wonderful people they helped save my life and i just want to say THANKS TWIN LAKES CENTER ...... YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST .... I MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH.... THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP I RECEIVED THERE THROUGH MY PATH OF RECOVERY

This place saved me not just the detox not just the class's it's the people there that make that place a success they pour there all into getting you better and keeping you well they actually care about the work they do and it shows I want to thank the twin lakes center from the bottom of my heart you guys are great like Britt B,Paul,Mark,Sarah,Matt,Britt H. And the nursing staff Thank all of you so much I can't wait to come back and give my speech to tell the current people there it can be done thank you guys

Best place i been good staff. Great support id like my wife to be a speaker and tell her story about her sister.

This is tha best rehab in pa i think they got the best staff and they are very helpful and they do not judge you at all are look down on you and they do got a bunch of resources so if you are looking for help this is where you wanna be!!!!! Get help before its to late!!!!!

my dad is in there and he looks like a completey diffrent person. Thank you everyone who helped him the staff are amazing.

Horrible. Doctor will not see you unless you publicly admit to a group of strangers that you have a drug or alcohol problem. No confidentiality! .
