I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Joey for helping me reach the finish line at my first 100-mile ultra a week ago. Without Joey, I know I wouldn’t have been able to complete it. I’ve been working with Joey since July to address persistent lower knee pain that I’ve had for a couple of years. Joey was able to get to the root cause and prescribed exercises to strengthen not just my knee but to holistically improve mobility and strength in other areas to support the overall health of my running. In addition, the dry needling and massages really helped me recover from my 50-miler just four weeks before the 100. What really impressed me was Joey’s ability to problem-solve and adapt to my training and any issues that came up. He never tried to change my training; instead, he incorporated exercises within my plan. Two months into working with Joey, I ended up getting gout for the first time, and, unable to set my ego aside, I trained on it as much as I could, which aggravated my other knee. Even though I did something dumb, Joey was very understanding and never made me feel bad about it. He then did everything he could to get me as healthy as possible going into the race. For anyone on the fence about getting help with injury issues or working on prevention, I highly recommend Joey and the team at Up and Running. In addition to being highly knowledgeable and experienced, they’re just really good people. I feel lucky to have met Joey and to be able to call him a friend.

Ten out of five stars. I've been dealing with back issues for close to 20 years. I've gone through 4-5 different PT clinics where I'd find some symptom relief through quick fixes, but it never truly addressed the root causes so the pain would always come back. I've been working with Conner for three months now and I can say that he's the first PT that really got to the root causes of my problems and tried to unwind the massive ball of garbage yarn that is my back. We've worked together almost once per week over this entire time and my back has been feeling the best that it has in years. I've been able to walk 18 holes without pain. I've been able to get back to more of my standard lifting. I've been able to wake up in the morning without my back already being locked up. I've been able to live life better. Being stuck on a plane for a few hours still sucks, but I blame the airlines for the tiny seats.

Wanting to share my 5 star experience with others that are trying to find a professional PT service in the Fort Collins area. Back in April I was noticing how limited my mobility was along with the increase of pain I was experiencing do to my own neglect. I decided it was time I should reach out to some PTs in Fort Collins and get an idea of what treatment would look like. From the first phone call to setup my first appointment to the last in September the team at Up and Running was fantastic to work with. I worked with Dr. Stephanie for all of my treatments/appointments. When developing treatment plans with her I got details on the “Why” behind each and every movement which was helpful for my own understanding. She is very knowledgeable so ask her all the questions or concerns you might have. Last thing to mention is the facilities are top notch. All of the equipment and the building are very clean. I am now literally back up and running due to the services from this team.

Connor has been great to work with! I hadn’t run a half marathon in 5 years and wanted to run another one as a now mother of two retuning to fitness with a history of 2 hip surgeries with some significant asymmetries. Getting back to longer runs was like peeling an onion with me - every other week a different part of my body hurt and Connor astutely adapted his plan for the day to fit my changing needs. He has great manual PT skills and provided me with lots of education that I didn’t know even as a PT myself. Last weekend, I ran my first trail half! Thanks, Connor!

My name is Joe and I'm 24 years old. I have been dealing with severe subcutaneous Bursitis in my heel. Accompanied with Plantar fasciitis in both feet. Two years and six months ago I entered a viscous cycle of pain and imbalances in my feet after I injured myself running. I would limp everywhere and the pain was unbearable. The last two years have been the hardest portion of my life so far. But I reached a point about a month ago where I felt like I could start strengthening again. My Injury is very stubborn, sensitive, and easily irritated in the past. I was doing physical therapy on my own but I felt like I needed some guidance. That's when I met Conner Weeth. He is my current PT and we are about 5 weeks into treatment. My symptoms and pain are finally starting to go away. With Conners routine, I've started to gain back strength and coordination. He listened to what I had to say and he has been amazing to work with. I never thought I would get back to doing what I love to do (skiing, running, rock climbing, hiking). But all of that will become a reality because of the guidance Conner is providing me. I cannot express how good it feels to be regaining my mobility. I often get emotional thinking about it. If you are in pain and want to get healthy, then I would 10/10 recommend going in to UP AND RUNNING PHYSICAL THERAPY. Request an evaluation and they will get you the help you need. Cheers to movement folks, you wont regret it.

I came in a few months ago with a shoulder injury from a cycling crash. I worked with Steph and she did a really wonderful job helping me recover in such a short amount of time. She is very knowledgeable and brings a refreshing amount of levity during some of the more challenging strength and recovery exercises. If you have never experienced dry needling, definitely try it out. I do not typically do well with needles, but she does a great job with the procedure. One thing I feel that is important to mention is that you will most likely pay out of pocket for these procedures (HSA/FSA is an option too). I was initially a little skeptical, but I would highly recommend it. I have done PT both the conventional way (insurance) and out of pocket. What I like about Up and Running is that you get more one-on-one time with a certified physical therapist. Because of this, you will most likely speed up the recovery process and end up spending less money overall. I hope I won’t need PT any time soon, but if I do experience a sports-related injury in the future, I will absolutely return. Thanks!

Connor is an awesome PT! I came in with knee pain that had been bothering me for months and I tried lots of different things but nothing seemed to work so I decided to get some help. It was the best decision I could have made! Connor helped me not only deal with my knee pain but helped me become the strongest and fastest runner I’ve been yet. He was very supportive through the process and checked in with me to see how I was doing mentally through the process. With his help I was able to not only finish my first ultra (Never summer 60k) which was the main goal, but also meet my secondary time goal of coming in under 9 hours and all without any knee pain whatsoever! Working with Connor has made me realize the athlete I can become if I invest in having help along the way. If you’re motivated and want to not only run injury free but stronger and faster than you ever have, working with Connor and the Up and Running team is a no brainer! 💪

I came to them for persistent knee pain during marathon training, they were able to get me in quickly and resolve the issue. Throughout training, they not only addressed my knee pain but also managed any other issues that arose helping me complete my first marathon on the 3rd attempt. I continue to work with them to address any problems that may arise as well as using their tailored strength plan to improve my running and prevent injuries in the future. These guys have been fantastic to work with and I highly recommend them.
