University Physical Therapy

My experience with UNC Physical Therapy in Durham has been awesome. Jeff is so knowledgeable and has worked so hard to help return my body to “normal” function. What I appreciate most is he doesn’t just give me exercises, but he educates me on his process to help me sustain my results beyond his short term treatment plan.

Highly recommend Tanner Holden and the entire UPT staff. Their ability to assess my injury, develop a comprehensive rehab plan, and get me back to 100% was truly top-tier. What impressed me most was the attention to understand and treat my individual situation and advance my plan specifically based on how I was feeling since my last visit -- you won't find "one-size-fits-all" approaches here. I found this physical therapy team to be reliably on-time, friendly, focused, and knowledgeable.

Jeffrey M O'Laughlin, PT runs an extraordinary Physical Therapy department. More than complementing the well-equipped facility is his caring expertise. He's tuned into my specific needs, developed exercise plans that produce results, encouraged hard work, and compassionately conducted our sessions.

Very friendly and knowledgeable Physical Therapists on staff, I always felt that my PT was striving to help me understand what I was doing and why I was doing it. He kept me at a healthy pace that supported strengthening the injured area without pushing me too fast or being overly cautious. I hope I don't injure myself again, but if I do I'll be coming back here!
