I have nothing but good things to say about the doctor. The office staff, however, is horrendous. They scheduled us with a doctor who could not even work on a patient my daughter’s age, so we had to not only go back the next day, but still pay 2 co-pays. I needed a letter for my daughter. The nurse left me a message telling me it was ready to pick up and when I showed up to get it the receptionist acted like she had no clue what I was referring to. Then the surgery scheduler set up a physical therapy appointment for her to go to post-op but office staff failed to send over the orders for her to do PT. I am beyond frustrated.

1/5 because I cannot give you zero. They completely ignored my Mothers pain and dismissed her not once but twice, in an effort to not have to do their jobs. After which she had to have multiple intensive back surgeries that completely changed her life for the better.

I’ve had both hips replaced by Dr McCabe. An excellent surgeon and great bedside manner. If you’re needing hip replaced go see him. He does anterior surgery which is so much better than posterior. Was up walking next day. I haven’t had any pain after initial surgery pain. Thank you Dr McCabe

Went to University Ortho for knee injury and found it to be a waste of time and money. Doctor made me feel like I was too old for him to bother with, refused to do an MRI that I requested to find out if my ACL was torn, and then said he doesn't treat my kind of injury in any case. I was shocked and dismayed.

I have had nerve pain in my toes for years. I have been to a foot specialist (no answers) and have been to my primary doctor who sent me to get an MRI (no answers). Yesterday, I saw Dr. McKibbin and he was amazing! He spent over an hour with me and showed me my MRI and my x-rays and explained what he was seeing. He answered ALL of my questions (I had a lot) and fully explained my treatment plan. I would absolutely recommend going to see this doctor if you have any foot or ankle issues! I would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Referred here from Community care/Tuscaloosa VAMC. My appointment scheduled at 08:30. Got here a few minutes early to complete paperwork. Been waiting 2 hours and still haven't been seen. Other patients have appointment at 8:30 too. I seen other patients go ahead of me to see him and I was here before them. Later nurse came to waiting area said Dr Thompson is in surgery and on his way. Asked anyone wants to reschedule they can. If he wasn't there this morning why wasn't patients given opportunity to reschedule earlier instead of 2 hours later. Ridiculous!

My family doctor sent me to this clinic. My left arm had been hurting above the elbow in the muscle and hurt really bad when I lifted it. This doctor came in asked me what was going on. I told him my doctor suspected I had adult SMA he got me to move my arm and sent me for an x-ray. When he came back in the room he said my shoulder was deteriorated and it needed to be replaced. I told him my shoulder wasn't hurting it was my arm. Then I asked if he thought my muscles were deteriorating his reply was. Well, let's get this shoulder replaced, then we'll see about the SMA. I had already went to an out patient clinic two weeks before they sent me to a hospital to have my arm and shoulder x-rayed. I got a call back that I had a little arthritis in my shoulder. My shoulder has not hurt me at all. I canceled the next appointment that they.

We are from out of state. My daughter saw Dr. Sandifer for her for a knee injury, and after telling her "you really messed up your knee", nice bed side manner, all he said was to get an MRI. It was either a bone bruise (and by the mechanics of her injury and symptoms, if he took the time to listen, there is NO WAY that is the situation) or an ACL tear. Seriously??? That is it? No further information. Then sent her on her way. Not great. No follow up call to see how she was doing, no anything. She will be coming home to take care of it all.
