Full Review pending. 2nd week after a referral from my doctor and still no calls. Left a voice mail and have not heard back. It seems like they can't wait to close the door, called 30 minutes prior to close and went directly to vm.

My Physical Therapist Todd was amazing to work with during the 4 month sessions: professional, caring, compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable to my recovery are just a few descriptive words for him!! I highly recommend Todd as a therapist. I started in a wheelchair, now walking without assistance. Reception staff member Shelly is also amazing: so helpful, friendly and caring!! I can’t thank the team enough for my successful journey to recovery! Respectfully, Debbie S

I’ve had several sessions of physical therapy here after two knee replacements and injuries. I have always been greeted with professionalism and absolute care and kindness from the therapists. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and have never left any question I had unanswered. They give you the tools to continue recovery on your own after your sessions have ended. Ultimately, success will be on yourself. You just have to want it! Shout out to Amy and Mark for their great care!

Todd was the Physical Therapist who attended me. I was impressed because at my 1st appointment he let me know my therapy was a joint venture. He helped me identify problem areas, confirmed with physical assessment. In other words I didn’t feel my therapy was “cookie cutter”. He listened to my concerns and perceived improvements and tailored each visitI accordingly. I was very satisfied with my experience.

When I had my rotator cuff surgery in January, 2022, I felt like my left arm would never be as good as it was before the surgery. After being treated at Unity Point Physical Therapy, Altoona, by Mike Wall, I am now feeling like my shoulder is recovered and that it may be better than it has been in many years. The therapists at Unity Point ensured me that things would get better through the entire process, and this was encouraging to me. They were good at adjusting my at-home program to meet my needs, and the program was never overwhelming. The therapists were knowledgeable and professional in their approach to me, and they worked well with my surgeon in prescribing appropriate therapy. I am glad I went to these fine medical professionals for my care, and I would encourage any person in a similar situation to seek care at this facility. I am very pleased with the way I was treated by the professionals at Unity Point, and my outcome now strikes me as being "amazing". Mark Graeve, Des Moines, Iowa

I had a total knee replacement. Mike W was my physical therapist. He was caring and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and concerns with respect. He helped me achieve success with gentle prodding. The receptionist was caring and full of helpful knowledge on costs. Unity Point 8th street physical therapy is the best.

Had an all around great experience with the whole physical therapy team and especially my therapist Jessica. They always have a positive attitude and are always helpful. One of the best parts about physical therapy here is that they will make you a daily routine that you can do at home to ensure you get back to 100%. I would highly recommend. As a side note many of the negative reviews seem to be refering to the other unity point clinic facilities such as their urgent care and so should not be considered when deciding on where to go for physical therapy.

I’ve just completed 8 weeks of Physical Therapy at Unity Point Clinic. The entire staff was efficient, friendly and accommodating.Todd was my PT and he worked diligently to provide appropriate and increasingly challenging exercises that allowed me to strengthen and stabilize my fractured ankle. His professional knowledge, skills and encouragement have enabled me to become more self sufficient and independent as I transition back to a normal lifestyle.
