I am more confident in my recreation and have felt the strongest and most secure in my joint stability ever. Katie and Kelsey at United Physical Therapy South made all the difference in my recovery from a total knee replacement. Their expertise, compassion, patience and encouragement helped me overcome the physical and mental challenges of a difficult healing process. John P was my physical therapist three different times over the past 3 years - for rehab after a hip replacement, for IT band PT and for rehab after a knee replacement most recently. His friendly, professional demeanor immediately makes you comfortable. He provided pertinent information without my having to ask--he definitely is in tune with the patient's perspective. Incredibly knowledgeable, stays current with developments in his field (and passes along that info to you) and always very willingly answered all questions and addressed concerns with in-depth approaches. John is very personable, with a casual approach, which makes you look forward to sessions. It was great to reach the end of my successful rehabs, but sad to not see John anymore. He's truly at the top of his profession.

The staff and therapists at United Physical Therapy are caring and very comprehensive and know their jobs well. If it were not for a therapist here I would not have been diagnosed with a much more severe problem than the one I presented with, one requiring surgery, which I will now receive. UPT staff both at downtown and midtown have been terrific. Alec gave me exercises that strengthened my knees,allowing me to walk 1000 miles in a year. I love the goofy little exercise drawings too. Tammy is super at sorting out insurance/medicare problems too.
