Ultimate Therapy

Well first off. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in wonderful hands. From the first friendly smile shown to me from everyone. My case has not been an easy one. I have head, neck, shoulder, spinal fusions, knee injuries. So for three and a half years they have gotten me back to being able to live somewhat like I used to. I'm truly grateful and would and do recommend them to everyone I know. Yes everyone runs business to make money. But they show caring, compassion and dedication to their patients.

Thank you to Ultimate Physical Therapy for being so helpful and kind to me during my new patient experience. The front desk personnel were helpful, knowledgeable and kind with helping me with my new patient paperwork. My PT employee was very knowledgeable about my complaints and why I was there for my PT. She also made my time enjoyable by allowing me to talk to her as a person, rather than just medical reasons. After evaluating my problem areas, she finished off with a massage. Thank y'all so much!

This is a lot of info, but will be in your best interest to read it completely. iMy first experience with Ultimate Therapy was about 8 years ago. I have been treated there over the years for injuries and post surgery’s The first time was for my back and neck. At that time, my treatment may have seemed very basic. However, for many years I had created a posture problem and therefore extended pain. So my Therapist, Sam (also the owner) taught me, while sitting, to lift my torso up, while breathing deep and then slowly relax until I found the spot where I was comfortable with the correct posture. That was a huge help. In addition, it assisted me as I carried myself while walking and in other activities. Sam went above and beyond other Physical Therapy clinics. Knowing I was in a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders, she relieved it by applying a massage to the areas. Even though that was not part of her original treatment plan, she knew the benefit this would provide and it felt wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and actually shares that knowledge with me by educating me to care for myself. I have learned that this is the key to my Medical preventative maintenance. At another point of time in my past, I was treated for knee issues and inflammation of my left leg. The problem was created from a Blood clot years ago, followed by a complete replacement. My clotting history has lead to my Current problem, which is Lymphedema. Sam is the only Therapist really qualified to provide Lymphedema therapy in Southern Maryland. This type of treatment has provided much relief. At one point she had reached out to my Vascular Surgeon to discuss the type of therapy he had prescribed because she was not seeing any improvement or the relief to my issue. Sam and her team had treated me, following two vascular surgeries when I had stents put in. I had also received treatment from Ultimate Therapy, following a surgery on my Rotator Cuff and Biceps repair and then again a few months later for the same of surgery. I say all if this because I have always received incredible results from my treatments and the education for my issues, which has taught me to perform self care. Sam has built an incredibly, knowledgeable team of therapists, which from time to time I have been treated by. I have never received treatment from other physical Therapy companies that even came close to the successes that I have gained from Ultimate Therapy. I recommend them 100% for all types of injuries, pre and post surgery. I will even go as far as to mention the free “therapeutic mental health opportunities” (lol) I have had because they cared enough to ask how I was and to listen when I shared my ups and downs in life . Wow, where else can you go these days and truly believe that any professional, such as the Ultimate Therapy Team, unconditionally care about you and your well being.

The professionalism, knowledge, caring attitude and service is OUTSTANDING. The therapists take a holistic approach to rehabilitation. Following their guidance I have made an amazing recovery. Ultimate Therapy maintains high standards for their service, from their PT staff to the front desk. Regardless of which therapist you see, your care will be consistent. This group of professionals truly cares about their patients. Kudos to Samantha, Ashley, Theresa and Kayla for helping me get back to my active lifestyle and to Jennifer and Vicki for working their magic with the schedules.

The staff of Ultimate Therspy are absolutely wonderful. From the moment you walk in you feel comfortabe and know that this is the place for you. I have Sam as my therapist and I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable as well as compassionate person. She explained her treatment plan for me, which includes the lymphadema and physical therapies. Since going to her I have a little mobility and am determined with her treatments to become more mobile so that I can become independent again.

Everyone is so professional and knowledgeable. They take the time to listen to their patients and create and modify treatment plans on an individual basis. I highly recommend Ultimate Therapy

For four months I've been seeing two of Ultimate Therapy's physical therapists, Wendy & Elizabeth, for chronic back and joint pain (chronic for 40 years). My ability to function on a day-to-day basis was compromised, and it had become a challenge to do all the fun things with my grandchildren that I've been doing for years. With my body giving out from under me, I felt so out of control and helpless and in more pain than ever. Ultimate Therapy's Wendy & Elizabeth have given me back my life. I went into their facility that first day feeling like a lazy slug; I left with a list of simple starting exercises I could do at home, AND, I left with hope and confidence that I COULD gain control. I've been doing my exercises faithfully every day, going to my appointments with eagerness to learn more, I've listened to their advice, encouragement & instruction, and I've taken it all to heart. The result of those four months: My pain levels haven't spiked to a 10 in weeks; I get out of bed rested instead of feeling as if I've battled pain all night - I can roll over in bed without pain & effort; I'm climbing stairs, doing housework, playing with my grandkids ... I actually feel like I'm in control of my own body once again; I'm 20# lighter, because my improved mindset gave me the willpower to eat healthier; I've learned not to push through the pain, but to properly modify my posture and position to meet my objectives without hurting myself. What a blessing Ultimate Therapy has been. They've given me back my life! I'll continue to do my exercises every day, continuing to be the "spritely old lady" my daughter says I've become.
