Zach Brantner is going to be a hard chiropractor to replace. I just moved from SF to the LA/Pasadena area but have been seeing Zach for close to 7 years while living in SF. He is reliable, efficient, honest, and will give you what you need in terms of not just adjusting but helping to rehab and improve symptoms of the injury/situation. Zach is also personable and cares a lot about his patients while keeping them accountable to the work that needs to be done outside of the office visits! I will really miss having him as my chiropractor, but also know that he will continue to be a support, no matter where I am.

Zach is the BEST chiropractor I've ever worked with. He is highly experienced and skilled in his craft, and also one of the friendliest people I know. I initially started working with Zach back in high school after injuring my ankle playing volleyball. Almost ten years later, and I continue to see Zach regularly. He is a miracle worker on my back and hips. Each session is different and he incorporates various types of soft tissue work, cupping, and numerous stretches to leave me feeling my best. Aside from being an amazing chiropractor, Zach truly cares about his patients. He is responsive, available, and committed to seeing people feeling their best. I'm incredibly grateful to have Zach as both a chiropractor and a friend, and I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Dr. Zach Brantner helped me through a debilitating wrist/hand/forearm injury. I had pain and immobility that worsened over 1.5 years to the point that I could barely do anything, but Zach got me back to near complete health under the pressure of a fixed and short timeframe (7 weeks). He also gave me a series of stretches and exercises to do on my own that are proving helpful as I get back to 100%. Zach is pragmatic, open-minded, knowledgeable, and friendly. Very grateful for his help

I have been seeing Dr. Zach Brantner for over ten years. He has helped me through so many injuries and body aches, I truly do not know what I would do without him. After a broken leg and surgery I trusted Zach with my rehab more than anyone else— he is always there to help me feel my best. Not only does he do great work, but he is also one of the kindest people I have ever met. I genuinely feel that he cares and always has my best interests at heart. Dr. Zach is hands down the best chiropractor I have ever worked with! I would highly recommend him to everyone! 11/10!

I've been seeing Allen Wood for all of my back and injury treatment since 1993 and have been more than satisfied with my experience over those 25+ yrs. While many will think of a chiropractor as only focused on the spine, Allen's practice has always been about more than just spinal manipulation. I think his whole-body & sports medicine focus starts with his own experience as a martial arts athlete. But I have also seen his development as a practitioner evolve over the years, driven by a desire to treat his clients well and simply because he's keenly interested in the science of the body. It's no surprise then that over these past 27 years that I've seen him as many times for shoulder or hip work as I have for back issues. He really is able to help across several modalities and parts of the anatomy. The other great thing about Allen and his practice is what I refer as bedside manner -- that is, how he treats you as a person, not just as a shoulder injury or a back adjustment when you visit. He is great at interpersonal skills, including taking the time to really explain the issue, the treatment, etc. And that experience goes beyond Allen himself; the offices he's created have younger chiropractors that seem to follow Allen's lead on care giving and treatment excellence. My 27 years of patronage should speak for itself, but I'll say that I have seen other chiros -- mostly when Allen has been out of the office -- and they always leave something to be desired. If you have a sports injury or need a back adjustment, I highly recommend seeing Allen Wood

Dr. Wood is an outstanding chiropractor. I first went to him (around 20 (!) years ago) when I had a seized back and could barely move without severe pain. He helped in the moment and for the weeks after as I sought to recover. I've been going to him ever since for both preventative check-ups as well as flareups and new aches and pains. I see Dr. Wood regularly for "maintenance" so I don't get too far out of whack. The main indicator that's he's great at what he does? My skeptical husband, struggling with a weird knee 'thing', got relief after one visit and now swears by him. You will, too!

I highly recommend Dr. Wood - he has been a trusted partner in my healthcare for over a decade. For many years, his care was focused on my spine due to chronic lower back issues. More recently, I have benefited greatly from Dr. Wood's extensive sports medicine experience. He diagnosed patellar tracking disorder of my left knee when I started experiencing persistent knee pain after working out or hiking. The exercises and taping technique he taught me have helped eliminate most of my knee pain (he let me video him taping my knee so I could do it at home on my own). In addition to my knee, I started having pain in my right Achilles tendon after slipping on a hike - I saw an immediate improvement in the pain after 1 visit.

For years I heard throughout the city that Allen Wood was the person to see for sports injuries and chronic issues. I actually referred several people to him, before I had an injury of my own. Allen most definitely lived up to its reputation and gave me incredible therapy that helped so much. Allen is not only an incredible professional and technician of the body, but he’s also a super nice guy who is always good to see during my therapy appointment. In addition to providing therapeutics, Allen also meticulously planned out my home rehabilitation exercises to speed my recovery and strengthen areas to prevent future injury. Allen is probably one of the most thorough doctors out there. My particular injury was tennis elbow, But while treating that I pulled a muscle in my hip and he treated that to total recovery within just a few days. If you have a sports injury or are dealing with some kind of pain and want relief, I definitely suggest you see Allen. Given my activity level, I’m sure other things will come up in the future and Allen Will always be my first call.
