I have had excellent surgical care at UCSF over the years and just recently started using the new(er) mid-Peninsula medical offices. This review is specifically about Dr Caroline Schlocker, an ENT specialist who I visited for the first time this week in the Redwood Shores office. I was quite shocked! She actually listened to me, engaged in a real conversation about my ideas, talked to me about alternatives, and used no weasel language whatsoever. She was straightforward about what might work for my conditions and what probably would not. I trusted her immediately, which is vanishingly rare. I feel like I might actually be headed toward a resolution after decades of well meaning doctors who couldn’t think beyond the norm. .
