UCSF Physical Therapy at Mission Bay

I never actually visited but after 2 weeks of struggling to communicate with their team over phone or email, I read these reviews and am not going to pursue further. Thank you google people for leaving reviews, I'll add my 1 star to the mix too.

Scheduling issues. You can’t get a hold of anybody through email, or phone call. I went down in person to try and schedule something and apparently all the “schedulers” work remote. Not worth the hassle.

I’ve never been so unimpressed by a healthcare provider. After 6 weeks of countless calls and two emails to the clinic, I was finally able to get an appointment 2 weeks later. (Fortunately my condition is chronic not acute). My PT arrived to the clinic 30 minutes late on the day of my appointment, without giving notice to his front desk. I purposely scheduled a morning appointment because my calendar can’t accommodate these kinds of delays. Very disappointed. Understaffing is not an acceptable excuse for lack of communication.

No one picks up the phone. No one calls back, good luck trying to get scheduled if you are new patient -- Sent E Mail, same results = no response. Spent > 3hrs over several days trying to get through. Clearly they are not Interested in new patients

Completely unresponsive. Phone tree puts you on hold for 30 minutes and tells you to send an email as an alternative. No reply to email after 9 days thus far. Look elsewhere.

The review is about the scheduling itself not with the Physical Therapists. I had good experience with my Physical Therapists. This is in regards to scheduling and actually making an appointment. It's almost impossible to get ahold of someone to make an appointment after getting your PT order. They have a call back service but they don't call back either.

Received a doctor's referral and I have been calling for two weeks and left messages over and over, no one ever calls me back. I have been on hold for almost an hour and still cannot get a hold of anyone. They need to fix this problem, how can you help people when no one answers the phone or calls back.

Terrible scheduling experience at UCSF PT here. It took me three weeks to get hold of real human. I called but never answered, left message for call back system and finally called me back at 6th time. Then, they told me my teen age kid was not accepted here, gave me another number and re-redirected here again. Such a bad reception and scheduling experience.
