The PT is a scam. $500 for one PT appointment with standard PPO insurance. Had PT at 2 other places in last couple years, one also a UCLA facility & never cost this much. My Insurance told me it’s because my therapist, was not an actual PT! What?! She was helpful, but the pain I was having was not debilitating. I could have had 5 massages instead. Also, front wait staff wasn’t the friendliest. Such a shame as it’s a nice looking facility. Had no issues with the radiology side.

Awful and corrupt place that hides the ball on their medical care costs. Went to the doctor for wrist pain. The generalist had no idea of what it could be, but said I needed a wrist brace. How much could a wrist brace be? Turns out, $880, but you can buy it on Amazon for $50. An honest office may describe the cost to their patients beforehand. In fact, I’ve been to other UCLA clinics that have disclosed the price and told me specifically to buy it myself because it was cheaper. But not this place. This place is solely in it for profit. If you must go here, ask questions and get itemized costs before you accept care.

I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to going there at all. If you are a UC student, do NOT go there either. It's not an immediate care facility like they claim, and the staff members are incredibly rude. A lady named Sal (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) told me to call my insurance if I had more problems. When I asked if my UC SHIP insurance was covered, she just said 'No.' I tried to explain my situation and how terrible I was feeling, and I asked her where I could use my insurance if my UC insurance doesn’t work at UC facilities. She just responded with, 'Yeah... I'm not your insurance,' and told me I could come in if I wanted. Like, what the heck?! I'm just trying to get help. If you don’t have the correct answers, at least don’t be rude. Especially when people are having a hard time, sick so bad, be kind—after all, you’re the front desk and part of the service industry. There's no excuse for such behavior, and I'm not sure why she works there. This has happened to me before, last couple time staff was rude too, but I was so sick and got taking care off so I didn’t want to make a big scene, so I went along with it, but it keeps happening. So I decided to make comment about it, at least be correct attitude if you can’t help, especially when people are seriously sick! I'm attaching a screenshot of the phone call for evidence so they can’t lie and say I’m making this up.

Claims to be an “urgent care” but you might just show up to a sign on the door stating they’re not taking any patients that day, despite their hours and system that say they’re open. If you want reliable care, go literally anywhere else

Do not believe the hours they post here for immediate care. They only staff one doctor who goes out for lunch at some point during the day, meaning they are effectively closed at this time despite trying to pretend they are not.

Total waste of time and money. I went there because it was the weekend because of a chronic condition and because my regular doctor was closed. I told the doctor that this was a reoccurring condition, which she seemed to be familiar with since she told me what medication it would take to treat it. Instead of being prescribed the medication, she told me she would prescribe antibiotics that have never helped. This visit was a total waste of a 2-hour wait, gas, co-pay, and parking fees!

Excellent care by very knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful doctors, nurses and staff. Excellent w/kids, and adults. Very busy office. Please remain patient, as worth the wait!! Very convenient location at Century City Mall! UCLA takes most insurance, and terrific with Medicare. My husband and I, our children and grand-children have had NO issues with UCLA insurance coverage for past 25 years w/ qualified insurance companies, Medicare, and co-pays. My Children and grandchildren frequently visit UCLA Urgent Care in Century City, and NEVER have had any issues with insurance coverage or co-pays, while receiving the most advanced, excellent, quality care. Quality medical care is expensive, yet worth the expense, and fortunately UCLA accepts many quality programs, with many options in California. Be thankful that UCLA and other quality medical institutions exist in LA and California, offer reasonable insurance programs, with much higher quality care than most states, especially those controlled by Republican governors and state governments.
