UAMS Health - Kids First

This one star is for Lexi, Alana, and the nurse at the facility. Hope the director is the rudest person I have encountered in a position such as hers! MacKenzie Meredith "WAS" my grand-daughter's 3yr old preschool teacher at this facility. My grand daughter is developmentally delayed and on the Autism spectrum. "Kenzie" likes to take away her pacifier and silky because SHE thinks that she is too old for it. Disregarding what her mother wants her to have. She uses her pacifier and silky blanket as her coping tools. Then she speaks inappropriately about the children who ride the bus. Saying kids need new shoes, that they have roaches in their back packs and she can only imagine the house they live in. Which is not a child's fault and is not for her to speak about to a bus driver. I'm sure that's against HIPPA compliance!! I have contacted Hopes's boss, an advocate for children with disabilities, the welfare department, the Arkansas licensing department so I plan on getting this resolved. So KENZIE(MACKENZIE MEREDITH) she shouldn't be working with children with special needs! She complains everyday to the drivers about the children's, clothing, appearance, smell and that they are too old for pacifiers and blankets. My grand daughter may be 3 but mentally she is not so how can she distinguish if she is too old, it simply is NOT HER PLACE! She is not a doctor, a dentist, or my grand-daughter's parent. She has no right to pick on 3yr Olds with disabilities. That school was supposed to be a safe place & trusted, but unfortunately is not!!! My grand-daughter' is non verbal and cannot tell us what else has happened behind clothes doors. She also has ears and can hear. Who is to say she doesn't understand when Kenzie is talking badly about her!?? It's disgusting and Hope stood behind her and she is still employed for now. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN WITH A DISABILITY TO THIS FACILITY BECAUSE THE WOMEN RUNNING DOES NOT CARE AND DIDNT EVEN CALL US BACK AND DIDNT CARE WETHER MY GRAND CHILD RECEIVED HER THERAPIES FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS!! ITS DISGUSTING THAT A SO CALLED TEACHER COULD TREAT A CHILD THE SHE HAS AND ESPECIALLY A NON VEBERAL CHILD THAT HAS NO WAY TO VOICE WHATS HAPPENING. MAY God deal with you both! Hope & Kenzie. I will not stop until something is done! Not to mention she does this to other children as well and has been witnessed and I have reported it as well. If you have had this experience, I plead with you to report them as well! Help the children that cannot help themselves and Hope & Kenzie cannot be trusted to do so!
