My Uncle has been at Twin Oaks for about 2 years and his health has declined. He had a bedsore on his foot that was untreated and it had him feeling so bad that he called 911 for himself. He made it to the hospital for the doctors to find that his foot has been obviously neglected. When the doctor unwrapped my Uncle's foot, he turn his head because of the smell and the look of it. They had to quickly amputate just below the knee. These are facts and I all of those patients are being neglected. Please someone help us, help them. That Facility is unfit. I know that there are patients there with little to no insurance, but these patients deserve still the best care

As a former employee, I wish that I could give zero stars! The facility it self is filthy. There is not enough CNA's mostly Nurse who don't help or care about the residents. Everyday on morning shift we would have anywhere between 12 to 17 patients a day. With those patients we are expected to have all morning care done no later than 11:30 am which is impossible. Most residents only receive one round of care due to the fact we would only receive one pullup/adult brief. All of the vital machines have been broken since the month of April. I resigned in September and they were still not working. We literally had to do all of the Nurses work. All they did was pass out meds and barely did that. They do not watch them take their meds so its never known if they take them or if they could possibly have chocked on them. They are mean to the residents and talk to them as if they are not human. They also allow way to many call ins which makes more work fall on the other aids that do show up to work which is unfair. About 95% of the patients have really bad bed sores that are not treated everyday as they should be. The sores get worst instead of improving. I would not recommend this facility to work nor to send loved ones. I resigned because I no longer wanted my name associated with this place. It is the most unorganized and unprofessional setting I have ever worked in. Most mornings we would find residents without a brief on so that made it to where the residents are laying/sleeping in their urine or bowel. As I stated before not a good place to work and definitely not a good place to send your loved ones. ESPECIALLY dementia residents! The DON and Admin are very unprofessional and noncaring.

I wish I could leave a negative zero review. THEY ARE ABUSING THESE POOR PEOPLE HERE AT TWIN OAKS! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! They're leaving them in their soiled clothes and linens and they are PHYSICALLY ABUSING THOSE ELDERLY PEOPLE. I wouldn't trust them to take care of a baby doll!

Beautiful facility that is kept impeccably clean. Staff are always kind and friendly and take excellent care of their patients. Even if someone is having a bad day they are smiling. Honestly this is the best facility in Mobile county and is a hidden treasure.

My mother was here for two months with dementia after beating covid, ended up in hospital dehydrated, compacted, and died 3 days later. Lost weight rapidly had to call and speak to someone when on zoom call she was unresponsive yet trained professional didn't pick up on it.

The facility is very clean and organized. The staff is very pleasant, kind and caring. The Director of the facility and his leadership staff are great.
