This place is awful! If you can avoid sending your loved one here then do it. My mother had to stay here for 4 weeks and it was nothing but problems. The first day she called me crying because no one was answering her call light(which was always a problem) and she needed to use the bathroom. A couple days later a CNA came into her room which was 10 at night and grabbed her purse ,took her wallet and took out her debit card. The CNA never informed her of what she was doing or bothered to ask her if she could even touch her purse. I tried talking to a supervisor but was led in circles regarding this matter. They also "punished" my mother by not showering her for 5 days because I gave her a shower on a none shower day. I called an requested for her to be showered but was ignored. Call lights are ignored constantly, on 2 occasions it took 20mins for someone to check on her (I timed it). I experienced a cna throw up her hands and mumble "my god what now" because the call light was pulled. The ONLY positive thing I can say about this place would be the physical therapy staff trying their best to help their patients. The pt staff member washed my mother's hair to help her feel better since the nursing staff would not give her a shower. Avoid this place and if you can't make sure to be the voice for your loved one because they will be pushed around and taken advantage of.

Worst experience! Would give zero stars if possible. My dad was transported there from the hospital. They performed a wound vac on an open abdomen with no pain medication. He fell out of bed that same night and was on the floor, staff stated they didn't know how long he'd been on the floor. No proper evaluation was done after the fall. It was only after family came in to advocate for him that a doctor came. The doctor that came refused to transport to hospital for proper evaluation after my dad's primary care/surgical team advised him to come back to the hospital for ct scan and x rays. Also the room was incredibly dirty. I encourage all to know their rights and advocate for your loved ones. Get the social workers involved at the hospital and rehab facility to get a referral to another facility or home health set up. File complaint with California Department of Public Health and contact the county ombudsman for assistance. This place should not be allowed to have patients.

I started as a CNA in TNRC , So I took a decision when I got LVN license. I will continue in same place . As a CNA , I worked for 2 years in NOC shift and all staff worked as a team . I never had a problem. When I started as a LVN they have availability in ok shift then I started in pm shift . In the meantime, there was a ADON (simran ) and RN(harjit) had an issues with staff. They didn’t want any other LVN/RN work there because they want their friends back on that place . I had an issue with RN one day and very next day she told me to Simran wanted to see us together in her office . When I went to DON ‘s office ADON was sitting in DON’s chair . She gave me write upp for 1 hr OT and I explained her I had fall risk that I had to watch also she said , that’s pointless for DON then I told her it’s hard to stay if we have to face these situations everyday then she said “GO TO HOSPITAL THEN YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO WORK” . Then I gave resign notice because it’s my thought {NURSES are not WORKING to get insulted }.

My mother was in this facility and it was awful. The staff left her in her bed soiled, they would not respond to her call button in a timely manner the food was cold and lacking any flavor. They did not send all the proper items home to dress her wound. Upon leaving my husband had to help her from the bed to the wheel chair and then into our vehicle because none of the staff returned to help. They also dropped the ball on setting up the home health care. Do not put your loved one in this facility!!!

I’ll just suffice it to say my grandmother was not well taken care of here. My entire family will never trust them with a loved one again. And I know other people with similar poor care experiences.

Not the place you want your loved ones to be. Terrible food and that is not suited for consumption. Red meat, pasty fruit pieces, bland everything, and it takes away from the nurses ability to do their jobs. Many task get put off due to poorly prepped meals and leaves patients agitated due to hunger.

Unfortunately, Mom has been a long-term resident. In the beginning of her rehab, the care she received was very good. Care, communication and support was great. Overtime, the care for Mom dramatically declined from unskilled, unprofessional nursing staff, executive staff and physicians. Mom is now in hospice. While under the care of TNRC she acquired an incurable disease, most likely that was entered into the facility by either staff or patient. Along with this disease, she has multiple organ failures and a long list of other medical issues that could have been avoided if properly treated by TNRC's staff. They did not manage her health with CARE, RESPECT and EMPATHY. The most recent incident that happened was after visiting Mom, in June 2024. After returning to TNRC from an lunch outing, our family received a call from a TNRC nurse claiming they cannot find her in the nursing home. WHAT? How and where could she have gone, she's in a wheelchair with use of one arm and hand. Long story short, 911 was called as TNRC would not answer their phones or return our calls. I cannot place blame on all nursing staff, however the training, and communication starts from the top. Management is poor. A physician at Emmanuel Hospital in Turlock agrees 100% about the facility and the lack of care and their bad reputation. PLEASE if you sincerely care for your family member(s), friends or YOURSELF do not go to TNRC, consider another facility.
