I called 2 days ago to schedule a check up and get my son a primary care physician because we moved here from Amarillo. The lady on the phone seemed friendly enough and I'd say setting the appointment was a good experience. The appointment was scheduled for today at 4pm(4/17/24). She asked me to come in early to fill out paper work, so I did. I arrived today at 3:48pm and the lady at desk got our info made a few keystrokes and said she couldn't find anything with our info at all. Not today or any other day. She never asked the spelling of our names just in case she had misspelled them or anything. That strikes me as weird, people spell their names differently for instance my name is Jarrod by the sound, actual spelling is Jerrod. Not many people get it right the first time, so I'm used to it not pulling up in systems and that's why I expected her to ask for spelling. Either way deliberate or not I took half a day off of work to be there. I don't get paid hourly, I get paid by the load as I'm a CDL semi driver. She couldn't get us in, didn't offer to let me fill out the new patient paper work so that I wouldn't need to worry about coming early for the rescheduled appointment or any type of solution that made me feel welcome there. I even pulled up the phone number to verify id called the right place, and showed the duration of the call verifying that I had spoken with them to set the appointment. I left there pissed, excuse my language, because now I've got to drive 45 minutes north, or 30 minutes south for care because I won't ever step on the property again. It cost me a lot more than half a days pay. Learn from my mistake, they can't even schedule or keep an appointment. Do not go there with your sickness and expect anything more. Thanks for your time, and letting me vent. Sincerely, Jerrod s.

I took my one year only to see Dr.King a week and 3 days ago. He has a cough, fever, and ear ache. The informed me that he was going to test my son for flu, Covid, step. I asked if he would test him for RSV as well. Dr.King told me that my child had to show signs of hypoxia in order for them to test him for RSV. He also informed me that it’s $1200 for the qtip just to test him. After we went back for the labs testing for flu, Covid, strep, he told me the results wouldn’t be in until the next day. Next day I get a call from the clinic saying all tests were negative and he was safe to go back to daycare. He didn’t prescribe any meds at all. Here I am 10 days later sitting the plainview emergency because my 2 year old is still running fever, still had a horrid cough, and still doesn’t feel good. Waiting for chest X-rays for possible pneumonia and an RSV swab. I am a resident of Tulia and I personally think that it is sad that we as a community have to drive to a different town to have quality health care. Dr.King should have tested my baby for rsv or at least prescribe him some meds to make him better.

My doctor moved and I needed BP meds....I was completely out and "Cynthia" the PA didn't bother to give me a call back, even though she was aware I was completely out of meds ..... Instead she had her nurse call the next week to "set up an appointment to see her". Thank goodness my pharmacist had mercy on me and gave me some BP meds to get me through the weekend. I have pulled my records from Tulia Clinic and am pursuing another clinic. My husband as well. Absolutely no excuse for not bothering to even call me back.

Great service, great people. They really put in the effort to treat you and make sure you’re safe, especially during this pandemic.

Last time I was there for my appointment, there was an hour wait after I had been called back to a room.
