The nursing staff has shown absolutely horrible bed side manner. Rude, short and very irritated. Leaving residents in soiled briefs for 30+ minutes. When I asked the staff their name, she declined to tell me. So sad to see the way they speak to the residents of this facility. The occupational therapists are amazing. Only smiling faces in the staff that we’ve seen!

The nursing home staff is very accommodating and friendly. Food for patients is tasty according to my father and they meet the doctor requests when preparing the meals such as specific diet and any restrictions (ie: diabetic, kidney or cardiac related). The one thing I would say is sometimes response time from staff to assist patients in their bathroom needs does take a bit long but they do their best when possible and it's understandable I'd they have alot of patients.

I had to place my mom here on Respite while out of state. They did not know how to care for my mom with dementia. So I'd recommend doing your research before placing your loved one here. It was clean and nice yet, staff seems like they do not have general knowledge of Patient care. Looks like they are struggling all over the board. From admit to patient care.

I would give this place a -5 if I could!! As a CNA myself 15+ years, I am disgusted at the practice of this place! There is absolutely no accountability for anyone! There was no administrator there until about 2 days ago. Today I called the unbudsman, to try and get some help for my mom! And then all of a sudden I get a phone call from an administrator of the facility. Asking me to please call her before I call the ombudsman. The ombudsman is a voice for the residents! That seems kind of a shady response to me! Since she's been in there her peri care has not been attended to in the right way! I did my own peri Care on her this past weekend. And I also used my own wound care on her sores that are forming. To try and get the charge nurse, social services, the DON, and the DSD, to acknowledge the situation and take care of it has been a week long process. I am very familiar with crafty manipulation! Which is exactly what I experienced from the physical therapist manager. Let's say what they want to hear, then we don't have to hear what they have to say! We'll see on Monday if changes have been made. In my experience as being a CNA for 15 years, and an activities director for 3 years, this is the worst facility that I've ever seen! Even the sheriff was there yesterday. Cuz a resident wanted to take her own life, because her needs were not being met or listened to. I'm currently trying to have my mom removed from that place and put into a better facility! I suggest you all do the same thing! There is no friendly faces, no eye contact, and no willing to interact verbally. Every time I walked in, I could have had a weapon on my person and nobody would have noticed! In my opinion, this place should be shut down!! They couldn't even tell me what the score was with the state inspection that happened in January! Lucky for me I've always worked in a four-star facility! That's one of the reasons why I expect nothing but the best! Not just for my mom but for every resident in that facility!

Food is awful as after Eat Some Taste Stay In You're mouth for 40 minutes. Phone calls, good luck calling in or calling out.

My sister Tammy died on May 17th at this sickening and horrible place. She had been there for years, we were notified on Monday the 16th that she was going to go into hospice. On Tuesday May 17th we were notified that her time was short. When me and my mother arrived we found our loved one in a room with two other patients, this incompetent and horrible institution couldn't even let her die and dignity in peace with her family alone. While she was dying we had the other patients literally crawling on top of us to get in and out of this room. And to make matters even worse, my mother ask why couldn't we put her into a private room, this incompetent nurse try to explain that she wasn't that severe, and while she was doing this explaining my sister died while she was talking, and then this incompetent nurse tried to say that she wasn't dead but you could tell that she was dead. This place here is a disgrace, and I am going to make noise about it. I want those people punished who were in charge of the way my sister's last few hours were handled and I will definitely go public on it

My experience was very short. But heather was truly amazing and I witnessed another nurse treat my dad's roommate with such compassion and care. And no, it was not because I was there. The curtain separated us but saw them in the mirror. It was beautiful.
