Triumph Therapeutics has been a game-changer for our son as he prepared for kindergarten. Roughly a month before starting school, we brought him to Triumph Therapeutics to improve his fine motor skills, particularly with writing and coloring. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the space. Beyond the welcoming waiting room lies an incredible gym filled with padding, zip lines, swings, rock walls, and other equipment that radiates fun. However, as we observed the sessions, it quickly became clear that this isn’t just playtime—the therapists design customized, targeted exercises for each child. What stood out the most was seeing the kids smiling and genuinely enjoying their sessions. On our first visit, Mr. Majekodunmi conducted a thorough evaluation. We were invited to sit in and were struck by how detailed and insightful the process was. Afterward, he walked us through each exercise, explaining its purpose and identifying areas where our son needed extra support. He also shed light on potential underlying causes and shared a clear plan for moving forward. We left with a much better understanding of our son’s needs and a sense of confidence in the path ahead. After four months of working with the team at Triumph Therapeutics, the progress our son has made is nothing short of remarkable. It’s evident in his schoolwork and his confidence. The staff is not only professional and knowledgeable but also warm and welcoming. They provide regular progress updates, and their ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, jargon-free language is incredibly helpful for parents. We wholeheartedly recommend Triumph Therapeutics to any parents who suspect their child might benefit from additional support. The team’s expertise, individualized approach, and focus on creating a fun and engaging environment make them truly exceptional.

After doing tons of research, I'm glad I decided to bring my daughter to Triumph Therapeutics! Despite the long commute from MD to DC, I consider the drive worth it based on my experience. First, I consider this place to be a one stop shop since my daughter needs speech/myofunctional therapy and occupational therapy. Second, I had the pleasure to meet the owner who also was the evaluating therapist. He was very professional and friendly towards my daughter and I. Most importantly, I was thoroughly impressed with the occupational therapy report. He addressed ALL of my concerns including the ones I forgot to mention. His attentiveness and high level of competence assured me that my daughter came to the right place. Lastly, the place is neat and set up nicely. The staff is friendly, competent and provides excellent service. Plus, I have seen a lot of improvement in my daughter's speech and motor skills. Not to mention, my daughter loves coming here and never wants to leave! Thanks Triumph!

Our experience at Triumph Therapeutics has been fantastic. From our very first appointment, it was clear that we had found a nurturing and professional environment dedicated to fostering growth and development of kids. The occupational therapists at Triumph Therapeutics have implemented engaging strategies to improve my son's fine motor skills. They create activities that make skill-building enjoyable and effective. We’ve seen remarkable progress in our son’s handwriting as they’ve tailored their approaches to suit his unique needs, focusing on play-based techniques that keep him motivated and excited about each session. Additionally, the attention given to sensory integration has been outstanding. The therapists successfully integrate various sensory activities into the sessions, which has not only enhanced our son's ability to handle different sensory inputs but has also contributed significantly to his overall attention and comfort in various environments. Equally impressive are the speech therapists, who have worked with my son to improve his speech fluency. Their patient and supportive approach, combined with targeted exercises, has made a noticeable difference over the past few months. My son looks forward to his speech therapy sessions and is visibly growing more confident as he practices his communication skills. Overall, the management and dedicated team at Triumph Therapeutics has cultivated a warm atmosphere. The office runs like clockwork. The therapists provide in-depth feedback after each session that is often helpful to us at home.. Their patience with our changing schedule over the summer was very much appreciated and so is their commitment to working with insurance plans.

Triumph Therapeutics is truly FANTASTIC!!! Since day 1, my daughters and I have felt welcome and a real part of the family. Lindsey in particular has been so supportive of my daughters and incredibly knowledgeable, on top of being empathic and warm. I’d recommend Triumph to everyone (and I have previous — and less than optimal— experience with other PT/OT!).

Triumph is phenomenal. Our son was trending towards being a late walker and our pediatrician suggested physical therapy as a way to help his development. He worked with Dr. Lindsay Fitchett and had an amazing experience. She had a very thoughtful, structured approach and you could clearly see the progress he was making. Each session she focused on him and his needs, keeping him motivated and engaged. The fact that he was excited to go see Dr. Lindsay ahead of each appointment is a testament to her level of care and attention. Everyone at Triumph was warm and welcoming and the office environment perfectly tailored to the needs of kids. Cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Triumph and Dr. Fitchett, she was the key to helping our son get walking.

We are so grateful for the incredible care Kaiden has received at Triumph over the past six months. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of his therapists, Mckenna and Donna, Kaiden has made remarkable progress in both occupational and speech therapy. He has gained new skills that have made a noticeable difference in his day-to-day life. Dr. Lou, the practice owner, has built a wonderful environment where every child is treated with care and attention. I highly recommend Triumph to any family in need of speech and occupational therapy!

Receptionist was so rude. He was really snappy and mean. Not helpful at all. The therapist who evaluated my child seemed to have no idea what to do. She seemed really lost. I don’t think she was an actual occupational therapist. At the end of the in-person evaluation, she came out to the front desk with us and asked Ivan if insurance would cover 4-5 times a week and he said “no. We don’t do 4 to 5 sessions. If he needs 4 to 5 sessions a week, then he needs to go out of state for therapy.” WHAT???? His pediatrician said he needs occupational therapy 4 to 5 times a week and our insurance will pay for occupational therapy 4 to 5 times a week. I don’t understand why his pediatrician recommended we go to Triumph Therapeutics if they can’t/won’t see him four to five times a week. I just wasted $1000 on an evaluation for no reason. Now I’ll have to go someplace else, pay another thousand dollars for an evaluation where they can actually accommodate him 4 to 5 times a week. So disappointed. Waste of time. Occupational therapist who did the evaluation just had him do a bunch of little tasks that I could have easily told her that he can/can’t do. For example, I could have told her he can draw a circle, and that he can’t stack small blocks on top of each other. Didn’t need to spend $1000 to have her fill out a simple form that I could have filled out online. The whole evaluation from start to finish was surprisingly bad. Just a complete waste of time and money. Better to get a free evaluation from DCPS. UPDATE: Triumph Therapeutics said the copay would only be $40. So I paid $40. But they didn’t tell me that insurance does not cover the full $1000, so then I received a bill for over $500 from Triumph Therapeutics! Despite being told that I only had to pay a $40 copay. Sigh

We have nothing but praise for the staff at Triumph Therapeutics. Our son has greatly improved his speech and fine motor skills. Ivan has always been so helpful answering any questions we have, and our son's therapists are truly committed to his improvement.
