Well my last 2 experiences were really bad Dr myers comes in and starts lying to me regarding 2016 cdc guidelines and that Dea is now making laws instead of congress. When I asked him to stop lying he got angry and walked cussing and acting like he was a know it all. I would not recommend this office to anyone . He is a jerk..

Dr. Myers treated me with disrespect, talked to me in a demeaning manner, did not listen, and implied I was a liar! Doctors like him should not be helping people. Do not expect to be able to get any appointment or a true follow up between your monthly visits. They can put you on a medication and then if you have a problem with it, they will not put you on something else until your month is up. This left me in pain two months in a row because I tried two different meds. There are really no pain doctors in town so they know that they have a monopoly.

I have been going to Tristate pain for over 5 years now and have had zero issues with the staff, nurse practitioners or Doctors. When I first transferred over Dr. Venger helped me so much by lowering my medications by more than 60% of what I was taking while still managing my pain. The office in Lake Havasu is closer to me so I’ve been going there for years now and the staff has always been warm and welcoming, nurse practitioners helpful and Doctors as well. After years of suffering before joining any pain management, it’s been nice to get the care and treatment necessary for a better quality of life for this long.

The Lake Havasu office hasn’t found a permanent doctor to fill the void of their main physician passing away. I had a meeting with a new DO Dr. Myers there who was upset that I had injections done at another office. The nicest part of what he said was “ well, they don’t know what they’re doing, did ya think of that? They don’t know what they’re talking about. You need transforaminal injections and no one has done that. I’ve been doing this 30 years and all these surgeons want to do it sell you a back surgery.” The truth is that I very recently had exactly that approach to the epidural spinal injection. I had it done at a surgery center by the spinal group I’ve been working with since 2016 because they are in a big city with big hospitals and not just in tiny Lake Havasu. If something went wrong, I wanted the best of the best close at hand, not a helicopter ride away. THAT is why I’ve gotten injections done elsewhere. The doctors he was speaking poorly about were world renowned brain and spine doctors who have patients flying from around the world to see them. They are trying to keep me from needing spinal fusion surgery. Their methods are conservative and he took not one second to understand what I’m trying to do to help myself. He doesn’t know, for example, that I was a competitive athlete and I want to feel better so that I can get quality of life back to even sit normally in a chair. I don’t expect to be pain free but I also do not expect to be treated like trash for seeing spine docs and refusing to live in the pain clinic machine for the rest of my life. This was not a meeting with a doctor, this was me paying to be berated by someone I’ve never met, doesn’t know my history, who didn’t read my chart and read an old MRI report (why, I have no idea) , not my brand new MRI, CT scan, and X-rays (flexion and extension) that show Spondylolisthesis and small cysts which are pressing on the nerves. He insisted that I have spinal stenosis, that’s it, and got mad at me for “being argumentative”. Being argumentative was me attempting to talk to him. He then grabbed my paperwork out of his assistant’s hand, scribbled something on it and stomped out of the room. It was bizarre and I was shaken after the meeting. Maybe this doctor is truly fantastic but this was beyond bad bedside manner. I believe him when he said that surgeons want to do surgery and I think he was truly trying to educate me. But if you’re going to have a talking visit with a patient, the communication needs to go both ways. I’m strong and I’m smart and I won’t be pushed around by an arrogant doctor. Medical gaslighting is abuse.

Vanger is the worst Dr I have ever seen. He lied to me many times. Only interested in money and has no concern for his patients. His staff is uncaring and lies to there clients. Look him up on line (Las Vagas MedicalMafia. This Dr is dirty. His wife is just as bad. After about 8 years he let me go for no reason. He told me it is not my falt but he had to let me go. His office sent me notice 1 day before my appointment. His office would not let me speak to him. Dr Vanger gave me his cell number many years ago and told me if I had a problem give him a call. I used it once and his wife had a fit. The doctor told me to call him Ben again his wife had a fit. Go yell at you're husban. At one time we were friends by business. All that changed when he started having problems with the DEA. I called Vanger on his cell he answered my call and told me to come in the following day. I went to see him I asked a couple of questions and nothing but lies. I became angry I called him every name I could think of. He told I could come back after some time. I told him never. To try to get even with me he stated I told him I would kill him if he didn't fill my prescription. He put this in my file hoping no one would take me on. That backfired on him the town knows he is a lier. He is disliked by other Dr's in town some pharmacys will not talk his prescriptions they blame him for the DEA problems in town.Let me close by saying STAY AWAY FROM BEN VANGER. DO NOT PUT YOUR LIFE IN HIS HANDS HE IS PURE TRASH

Dr. Diep has taken such good care of me. Yes I still have pain, but nothing like it was. I am 71 years old and have led a Very active life. My poor body has been beat up just with loving adventure and activities. The relief I have is amazing. Learning and doing the PT your advised to do helps alot. Do your part to have a much life if you can. Thank you to Dr. Diep. So far no drugs and that's amazing.

This doctor should have had his license revoked long ago. He did us all a favor and dropped dead recently. Ben Vanger can no longer hurt anyone again.

I was not happy with them as I had an appointment with Dr Vangarr for a consault but because I wouldn't sign off of my current pain management they wouldn't allow me to meet him. I was not looking for meds I just wanted to see if I would want to switch. They still billed my insurance over $300 and now I am getting a bill for lab work that should never have been sent in
