I generally refrain from writing negative reviews, but I feel compelled to express my deep frustration with the service we have received at this clinic. There seems to be a lack of continuity in care, which is particularly concerning for our 6-year-old son who is undergoing occupational therapy. His last appointment was on July 2nd, and when I attempted to schedule follow-up sessions, the earliest available date is November 5th. This extended gap is not conducive to effective treatment, especially for young children who thrive on consistent routines. I believe this situation reflects poorly on patient care. To add to our disappointment, his appointment scheduled for June 18th was canceled due to the therapist's absence. However, I only became aware of this cancellation upon arriving at the clinic. The clinic claims to have made a phone call, but I have neither a missed call nor a voicemail to substantiate this claim.

The therapist there Michelle Ugalde is 100% FANTASTIC! She is incredible and highly recommended. Wow in every way for her! But the front staff who answer calls, and interact with patients for sign in? Very cold and uncaring people. They scramble to make sure you’re masked before you take a breath in their office but do not for one minute show genuine care or interest in the patients. They’re just numbers. My 76 year old mother whom I care for has severe leg issues . I take her to therapy and run errands then pick her up. Sometimes there is a cancellation in her appointment ( they always swear they call me conveniently but I never have a voicemail ) and again they called me while out on errands saying they want to schedule her for next week but fail to even mention that the therapist had yo reschedule and I need to come pick her up! They let her sit by the front door for an hour just waiting. They KNOW I am her transportation and care taker! I was FURIOUS! They were not even apologetic! Very cold very excusing of themselves! Their panic over masks but their disregard for the elderly patients there sickens me. I will be making sure I am with my mother every moment from now on in that facility and the staff aside from the therapists cares about nothing and no one other than their computers, chatting about nothing, and playing on their phones . Disgraceful.

My son began seeing Lauren Yuerk at 2 months old for his torticolis — we have been nothing but happy with her as our therapist. She is very patient and gentle with my little human, which made diving into PT at such a young age that much easier. She also is always very thorough when teaching a new stretch to me and patient when she is asked to go over it time after time to ensure I know what I’m doing when I’m on my own! Shortly after beginning physical therapy my sons torticolis improved drastically! One thing we love about Lauren is how she has connected with us on a more personal level than any of the other healthcare providers my son has seen! It always made PT appointments that much more enjoyable. Another thing we loved is how she returned our phone calls in a timely manner to answer any questions we were having or to squeeze us into her schedule when it was needed. If your looking for a physical therapist for your little one I highly recommend Lauren!

I would concur with the previous comment that stated the front desk is absolutely awful. I don’t know what’s going on with their leadership, but many are short and appear unhappy every time I bring my son for therapy. My son has been seeing Heather Hawkinson for a year for OT, while she’s a great therapist the scheduling clearly values policy over people, and does not own up to their mistakes at all. We were misinformed about scheduling and lost our appointment time that we’ve had for the past year and a half. When my wife spoke with them about it they stated directly that it was the policy and there was nothing they could do to regain our spot; they went so far to try and pass the blame on us when they told us we had appointments scheduled out until February. So, I will never recommend any Park Nicollet clinic, nor return to one ever again.

I had complex knee meniscus surgery on 12/4/2020. Marc Palen worked with me from 3 days post surgery through mid-May. But his guidance and challenges got me back to pain-free running in less than 6 months. He answers my questions and kept “upping the ante” when he knew the healing allowed for it. If you have major knee surgery, and are wanting to trust your PT to get you back to normal activities safely, Marc’s your guy.

My son has seen Karessa for Torticollis since about 12 weeks old. She has been amazing for his development and I looked forward to all of his appointments. She is friendly, compassionate and knowledgable. I felt like she really heard my concerns, helped guide us in the right direction and helped my son stay on track and most of all overcome his torticollis. I will miss seeing her at our monthly appointments. If my future children have Torticollis or other PT needs, I know they are in great hands with Karessa and will be scheduling an appointment ASAP.

Laura S was fantastic she helped me out so much with two broken heels. She always has a smile and no matter how my week was going I always felt great after her therapy session. I would highly recommend this therapy facility and if you are fortunate to have Laura you will not be disappointed.

I just had SI joint fusion so I was looking for a physical therapist (PT). I found Park Nicollet through my insurance network and gave them a call. They set up an appt with Parker and asked how I preferred to be contacted by them, I opted for the texts. The following Friday I went in for my appt. and there was no PT he canceled I guess. So I checked my text messages, there are none. The receptionist says "he called and left a voice mail", too many spam calls these days this is why I opted for texts. Ok no problem, Lets reschedule for 1 week later on Friday again. I was running a bit late this day so I arrived 13 minutes late to the Facility. I go and check in, and because I wasn't on time my PT left. No call, no text to see if I was coming in, just bailed again on a Friday. So unfortunately my SI joint fusion has now turned into Piriformis syndrome and the pain in in is unbearable at times. If you are looking for A physical therapist I would suggest going to the next 1 on the list. This particular PT is obviously there for thepaychecks and not the patients. It's too bad that he is this way, because there are many fantastic PT's that actually do care. Thanks for for taking the time to read my review, I wish you the best on your rehabilitation.
