I have been a patient of Dr Jewell for the last 25yr. I went to him because of knee problems. He recommended we try knee shots first because right now I was fairly young for knee surgery at the time.I was around 50. The shots really worked well for about 15 yrs than it didn’t work anymore. I had my first knee replaced shortly after. Since my husband and I were still working I asked Dr Jewell if I could stay in rehab in the hospital . At that time there was in house PT.. He made that happen. When I went home I could start Therpy at their place on the first floor. It’s the best place to rehab. Their staff is very stable and friendly. My therapist was Scott Buchanan he was great I came in on crutches and he said in 6 weeks you will walk out all healed and 6 weeks later I did. I had my second 2 yrs ago and now maybe my shoulder. Dr Jewel is the most caring person and he will answer all your questions. The staff is phenomenal polite and also happy. I would never think of anyplace else but TSO.

Dr. Emond is an excellent surgeon. I have nothing but good things to say about what he did for me and my reverse shorter replacement. The one issue that I have is that no matter when I go the weight in the office is ridiculous. Today I sat and waited for an hour to see the doctor. My appointment was at 10:45 and he didn’t come in till shortly before noon. This is not a thing. It happens to me a lot of the time. As a matter fact, it happens almost all the time.

Dr Langhams is good but if you are nowhere near your insurance deductible, be prepared to pay through the nose. I did therapy sessions that were completely ineffective and had to find a different PT before my issue started to get better. Also, if they ask if you want the heat and stimulation, say no!!! It is $40 for 10 minutes. And of course you have absolutely no idea how much you are paying until after you get a bill which will make your jaw drop. My total out of pocket for 4 therapy sessions and 2 doctor visits is almost $900. So if you don't want to pay thousands of dollars and receive ineffective treatment go somewhere else. Also, when you call and ask about your bill, chances are no one will return your call. When you finally get through to someone in billing, they will tell you "services were rendered etc" and you're basically screwed.

Tri-State Orthopedics, entire staff and Dr. Emond are 5 star at every turn. With several locations to choose from services and appointments are extremely convenient as well. The attention and care I received from onset of injury, through surgery and post care with physical therapy is bar none. Dr. Emond is patient and attentive, a top expert in his field with an exemplary background and amazing genuine care at every turn. I highly recommend Tri State Orthopedics and Dr. Christopher Emond, it has been a breath of fresh air knowing my recovery and future are in such great hands.

Not very satisfied with the visit, not to mention the delays with sign in/documentation/ability of the doc to see the patient in a timely manner were not great. Maybe it was a bad day. I felt the physician short changed my issue on the time he spent on it.
